Describe your ideal cozy space

What is your ideal cozy place like?

For me I love dimmed but colorful lights illuminating the walls. Purple and orange create a beautiful contrast that makes things appear like its perpetually a magical sunset.
In the room there is a bed littered in pillows and soft blankets and a small sofa chair in the corner near a window to read by.

I am sure there is more creative or fun options I could come up with but this feels right at the moment.

I would love to hear about other peoples ideal cozy spaces! So please share if you are willing.

    Well, I’d like to think I have successfully curated that “ideal cozy space” already in my own home - even long before CC…..Something to appeal to all 5 of the senses- sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste:

    It’s important for me to have everything in my house nice to the eye and touch. My bedroom has warm-toned grasscloth wallpaper, the most perfect mattress, softest sheets in the western hemisphere, soft warm and breathable blankets, annually swapped out hygienic pillows, really nice scented candles, dimmed lighting, an excellent mood appropriate playlist, governmental level top secret snacks for selected guests…

    In my home, it’s decorated nicely and lots of pillows, pictures. I keep my bedroom nicely decorated as well. Most everything is white with touches of turquoise and gold. I have white, soft bamboo sheets, nice soft pillows, soft comforter and blankets, comfy mattress. I love pillows ❤️. I usually have a candle burning or a diffuser going with a relaxing scent (ie lavender, peppermint). But with the holidays, I have been doing warm apple 🍎 scents. I love my place to smell good so I always have something going (candle, diffuser or incense). My lights are dim or off, with shades wide open so light comes in from outside during the day. Closed during cuddling sessions. Soft meditation music playing.

    I have a little fireplace 🔥in my living room to cuddle in front of, if it gets cold enough. Would love to do a cuddle session there one day.

    Regardless of the furniture, decor, lighting, etc, the one essential element is having at least one happy cat snuggled with me and purring up a storm.

    @OhioMike its my happy place in Colorado, I was a Bronco Billy’s Gal. I still get mailers and offers for suites, steak house, and free play. I spent 3 days a week up there, and won a decent amount. Plus the staff are my favorite. I’m serious that if anyone flies me to Colorado I can cover the “comfy space” lol.

    Animal Crossing is a cozy video game. There is a whole genre of cozy games! Usually the kind where you collect animals/critters/insects and do some farming.

    @Huggycatbear im actually moderately familiar with that game, but had not heard of that genre of gaming. So it's "cozy" because it's relaxing or laid back?

    @jimmylee You got it. They are supposed to games you can relax to. The opposite of Soulslike games. There's no big ingame penalty and you can tend to your plants and animals instead of worrying about dying. It's a vibe.

    I'd like to cuddle on a daybed swing somewhere temperate with a nice breeze. Maybe overlooking a nice mountain view.

    A room filled with pillows, thousands of different pillows sprayed all over the walls and floor. With a great big couch in the center and a nice view overlooking the beach. That sounds quite lovely.

    @jimmylee haha not ignorant, its a video game where you manage a town, your own home and crops, but all the townspeople are cute animals.
