Music while cuddling

So I've been wondering, what kind of music do you think would be good for cuddling? (Besides relaxing music because thats a given already)

Some types of music I have cuddled to in the past have been...blues, bluegrass, jazz, country (some forms of it), and the folksy types of music. But it also depends on who your counterpart cuddler is into as well.

I love Jazz music soft n soothing Jazz.. I would say depends on mood and location too.

  • Celtic instrumental is my favorite, with or without nature sounds. If I'm cuddling with the intent to nap, I like to play E.S. Posthumous' Cartographer album.

  • I found some super relaxing music on YT.
Which is great because who doesn't have their phone with them all the time?

  • violin instrumentals are heavenly.

  • good recommendations ya'll what about soundwaves? lol like hz

  • Enya is very relaxing.

Instrumentals of jazz, slow jams and atmospheric music.

Not a huge fan of songs with words while cuddling...

  • I know it's not a type of music, but I think it adds value to say I'm one of those people that prefers not to listen to music while cuddling. I'd rather watch something on netflix/youtube or go to sleep.

Post-apocalyptic dark ambient music. I know that stuff is really creepy but I like it when cuddling for some reason. Maybe because the cuddling makes me feel safe? Hahaha

Recently I tried playing my custom created album list that was all soft music, I felt it got too intense and at times distracting. I think whatever it is should be instrumental and no singing

Agreed with the above. Definitely no lyrics, or possibly lyrics in a different language that neither of you understand. I find lyrics tends to lend to singing or humming, humming or singing tends to put energy into the cuddle. But some cuddles are okay with more energy, not all cuddlers are comfy falling asleep or being chill at first, sometimes a bit of tension breaking is good as two people get to know each other up close and personal.

Rhythmic noise—stuff like Esplendor Geométrico, Geistform, or Hypnoskull.

    Peaceful.

  • My vote goes to Lo-Fi but personal preference is no music.

  • I tend to keep to classical music/chill jazz.
though the science of different "hertz" in music and their benefits is kinda cool to incorporate.

Usually I have a nature documentary playing on silent on my laptop if cuddles are in my room, as I do not have a TV in there, but do like to include that as an option for those that do not like music.

  • GG Allin, Weird Al, and NWA in succession from beginning to middle to end

  • @pmvines Lollerskates.

I really like the channel Deep Focus on Spotify.

  • I'm pretty happy with any music but good point @MissAdventurous . Comes down to what the other person prefers.

    @PeopleLikeUs nice list!

  • I like to cuddle to Contemporary/Instrumental Jazz. So relaxing and soothing.
