"A few weeks" is not a lot of time to make cuddle connections. If you want cuddles the fastest possible way, it is probably best to avail yourself of the pros (paid cuddlers) on the site. They are identified via the pro tag, which shows up as a pink P in the upper right of their profile. Since you are in California, there should be lots of pros within a reasonable distance of your location.
If you are opposed to paying a pro, you'll have to endure the laborious task of finding one or more compatible enthusiast (meaning non-paid) cuddlers. For most guys, this takes patience. Especially for those eligible for an AARP membership, it might take months of efforts, not mere weeks. But it can be done; I've met and cuddled with seven different enthusiast cuddlers in my time here, in addition to lots and lots of pros. Ironically, meeting a handful of pros and getting good karma reviews from them might make it easier for you to find an unpaid cuddle buddy. A bunch of good reviews makes any guy's profile less risky looking to cautious enthusiasts.

Many folks i know who connected with me as a pro requested i leave them karma so to help their profile stand out to other enthusiasts. i encourage everybody to find a cuddle partner that meets their needs, paid or unpaid. but cuddling is a very intimate activity (even while platonic), it's rare to find someone quick who is also someone who can meet your needs and if they're an enthusiast, you'll have to also make sure you meet theirs or else they won't stick around.
it takes time to find someone for you, even more time to find someone who sees you as a cuddle match for them as well. good luck on your search.

I would add that first meeting with someone who has experience with people who are new to this (a "pro cuddler"), will really help because they have experience with setting and teaching boundries, with dealing with nervous customers, with being there 100% for you, rather than trying to negotiate your emotional stuff, while your cuddling partner is doing the same thing. It is a great option.

@tileguy , I will say honestly that if you are looking for 1-1 cuddles, you need to look out for pros to whom you pay for the services! In my entire Cuddle experience here and so many other venues, with exception to one, I never had a bad experience. Alternatively, look out for Cuddle parties and hangout in there to see who you connect well with! If you are looking for non-pros, you may be in for a long wait as this site is still in its infancy when it comes to non-pro females.
