How to handle a client asking you on a date?

So I’m new to all this. Trying to figure out how to respond to a client I have not met in person yet, who asked me out for a date. Anyone had this happen? Any advice on how to respond?

  • You may need to ignore/not respond because he clearly doesn’t understand that this is a platonic cuddle site. And especially not for trying to date Pros. He needs to understand not pushing boundaries and the TOS.
Engaging can lead to enraging. I would not respond and block. Make your boundaries clear in your profile also.
That guy is maybe looking for an Escort. I hope I’m not misunderstanding.
    Best of luck here!

Treat them like a session and charge hourly for your appearance.

This isn't a dating website and it's not a trap that you as a new cuddler, or that individual who needs attention should fall for. Avoid anyone like this, it's a common thing when you're new. He knows better. Disengage, pretty lady, and expect more of this unfortunately. You need to get good at managing things like that here.

  • He’s likely looking for a GFE and you know what that includes.
As @Auroradream said, he knows what he’s trying for and hoping because you’re new, you will fall for it.

    Big red flag 🚩

  • @KuddleBUG1985 welcome to cuddle comfort. You say this is a “client” who you haven’t met yet - is this someone you have had a virtual session with, or someone you haven’t interacted with at all?

If it’s someone you had a session with, your session should have made clear you are offering only a platonic service. I’d message them back saying “thank you but my services are strictly professional and platonic. If you want to book a session I invite you to do that through a booking request. If you have developed feelings, it’s best that we not meet further.”

If it is someone you haven’t met, please report the profile, as they clearly are violating the TOS. This isn’t a dating site.

  • I'd have to understand how this was asked. Did he ask if you wanted to grab a meal before cuddling? I hear people talking about that all the time. Are you sure the intention is a date? Could it be just time to get acquainted? I don't want to suggest you don't know what a date is I'm just wondering if the message could have gotten crossed. Because i read about people going to movies, having a meal and going on walks all as part of a cuddle. It's actually listed in profiles so is this a romantic thing or just part of a cuddle.

  • You also have a 4 hour option listed on your profile, now I've never done anything like that but how do you guys fill 4 hours? If it includes a meal or any of those other things that people do on dates what's the difference? Other than just that insisting it's platonic. Now i know im older but i know when i was coming up there was a good 3 month platonic courting period that went on before the 3 month dating stage before anything other than platonic was ever considered. At least with the ladies i was trying to be with for any length of time.

  • While it is a platonic site, people meet all sorts of ways, best thing you can do is just give an honest answer. (Though obviously a huge red flag that he asked you out before ever meeting).

Perfectly fine (and expected) if you no longer feel comfortable cuddling with this person. Blocking and reporting seems like an extreme response to me. See how he responds to rejection and if he is overly aggressive then perhaps the block report is appropriate.

@ReltvlyCanshes I've seen pros offer 8 and 12 hour sessions.

  • Yeah have no problem with it, I'm just suggesting that in that length of time there are things that happen that could be somewhat considered a date , and wondered if it was possible this would resonate mention let's grab dinner and then cuddle or said let's meet for a drink a day before we cuddle just to get acquainted. I'm just wondering if the message could be misconstrued

  • Honestly just here to read and learn. Because this is something I've wondered myself. Because of examples that have been listed above. My biggest question is do the pay for said outing + cuddle fee

  • I’ve had 2 regular clients in my last decided they wanted to start dating me. I was not interested in dating either of them so I in kindness, very gently told each of them that I felt if was time that they stopped hiring me for cuddles and searched for a new pro cuddler. Now I am not interested in dating anyone at this time in my life but if I was also interested in getting to know them outside of our business relationship. I would have also said it’s time to stop hiring me for cuddles and perhaps we back things way up and start by going for coffee and then I would have seen where things went. But any which way it was time for them to not use me as a pro cuddler anymore.

  • Is he asking you on a date or is he asking you on a paid cuddle outing? There’s nothing wrong with a paid cuddle outing. It is within the rules. Have you clarified?

  • I’d have to know more context. I myself will almost always accept meeting up for food before a cuddle. I always meet new cuddlers in public at a cafe or something similar but if they offer to pay for a meal at a restaurant instead of at a cafe, I always say yes lol

You can charge for that time if you’d like. I don’t (cuz I’m a foodie and paying for my meal seems fair enough).

But if he’s saying “hey, I’d like to date you”, then that’s a boundary he’s crossing. He has to respect that you are a pro cuddler meant solely for platonic snuggles and connection, nothing more.
Depending on the situation, go with your gut and what you feel is right.

  • It happens to me A LOT and I honestly hate it. It makes EVERYTHING uncomfortable from then on. I just reiterate that this site isn't for dating, but for comfort and say that I need cuddles, not more ex boyfriends. This site's become VERY liberal with what "discussions" are and aren't allowed and it's making me think it's going to become open to being a dating site as well. Just follow your gut, but FIRST AND FOREMOST- BE SAFE!!!

  • While browsing pro and non-pro profiles, I often read offers and pricing packages to be a date or +1 for dinner, parties, movies, family gatherings, and vacations. As those are allowed services, reminding him you expect full compensation is beneficial to gauging his intentions. His reaction will tell you if he was using this as a free dating site and if reporting him is necessary.

Ok I just checked. The person in question asked her on a date in his first message. Not a session request, a date (he specifically said “sans payment”). He also refused to provide a photo and wanted it to be a blind date. Yeah, no.. He deleted his account but I banned him anyway. The answer here is to report if they ask you out and not engage; let us handle it.

(Note: In this case, OP did report and did not entertain the idea, so thank you).

@CharlieBear Our hero! Thanks for the intel and all you do 🤗

  • Some clients have suggested grabbing dinner off the clock and then starting the cuddle session on the clock. Feels like they’re asking for free services—no thanks, lol. Deffo bullet dodged OP

  • I am going to lock this since it has been resolved. Also the poll has one of the answers as the question (so the only correct answer is not selectable).

    @Auroradream
    Haha thank you.
