Are you saying more like brick and mortar? Similar to a massage or spa place?

exactly. But, would you have to get "certification" as a therapist? would a biz like this require "hall monitors" to make sure things stayed platonic? ... etc

Well I might be taking bit of liberty to call out @JazzyPants on this one! I must say, I am proud that someone I know personally from this site here has already taken a step forward towards it!
This passionate young lady started a brick n mortar already just last month - https://www.facebook.com/TangeWellness/

    Kudos and Congrats @JazzyPants !

We talk about how little or far "cuddling" is to "mainstream". The part of me familiar with loneliness says that there are MILLIONS of customers already hungry for something like this.

There is certainly a lot of people that want to exert a certain morality and stigma on human connection.
If you could put "legitamacy" or at least "accountability" to the environment, to lessen that impact, perhaps the demand would just overpower any remaining resistance.

It's already being done out in my area (Nor Cal - Sacramento area). Has been for about 3 years.

Since so many of the people on this site stress the importance of building a connection with a potential cuddle buddy before even arranging a meeting, I fail to see how a business where you are expected to cuddle with a total stranger can be a success. I doubt that women will be patronizing these businesses.

Cuddle Up to Me in Portland, OR fits this description as well

  • I’m hoping to open a Cuddle Sanctuary (affiliate or similar type of business) in Michigan in the next 1-2 years. :)

I think it’s great. And, from what I’ve seen, a lot of women are more comfortable in a ‘hosted’ environment (like a Cuddle Party or business that has a facilitator and insurance). So, I think it’s definitely the way of the future. Well, one of the ways. :)
