I have never seen on here is what someone who is aroace - with neither romantic nor sexual interest - thinks is and is not platonic. From what I've seen, aroace people do cuddle and enjoy cuddling (unless they're touch averse, of course) so I don't see how people can say cuddling is not platonic.

@Katota Actually I want to be Auntie Em. I am stranded in a hotel in Abilene, KS since Saturday night. Sixteen inches of snow with a half inch of ice underneath, blowing snow, sub-zero temperatures, 4-5 ft drifts everywhere in town where they closed all three restaurants-McDonalds, Arby’s and Burger King plus the gas station. The highways have all been closed. I am beginning to channel The Shining.
But if I was Auntie Em in Kansas I could ring Dorothy to click those dope ruby slippers and get my butt back home.

@FitSmartCuddler i agree with you. Although cuddling on this site is platonic, it is still a very intimate act and there is no way around that. The closeness, scent, and fact that one can be body to body with a stranger all add to it. What i find interesting is every female pro ive ever talked to, when iasked if they would want their mother or sister or auntie doing it, all have said no. I also havent met a man yet, myself included, that would want his mother or sister to be a cuddle pro. Now im sure there are those out there that wouldnt mind there mom or other close family member doing it but the ones ive spoken to dont feel like that and i believe its due to the level of platonic imtimacy and some just really being in it for the money. My view has changed on pros getting paid. I used to be against it but if men are willing to pay then ok. But i also know that if they said no more pay and everybody has to just be an enthusiast, more than 95% of the site would immediately go dark and you we'd see just how many pros are really in it for the cuddling. I can say this because as an artist, my artistry doesnt stop, whether i get paid or not. Its in me and i love it, so if i never got another dime for my artistry id still do it. I bet that would not be the case here.

@FitSmartCuddler yes I understood everything that you were saying in reference to platonic and intimate as far as the breakdown that you gave concerning the niece and the walk in the park and the holding hands as opposed to a body to body cuddle. There is definitely a difference and one definitely provides more intimacy than the other. I don't even see how that point can be argued quite honestly, but everybody is entitled to look at things the way they look at them so I respect it all

It can't be argued, and no one has even tried. The responses from people who don't like hearing it are to just accuse me of being mean to pro cuddlers and a troll or insist that I said the opposite of what I actually said so they can then label me as being "creepy".
@FitSmartCuddler yes i noticed that. Adults still have a long way to go when it comes to real, truthful, convos. There was no attack on pro cuddlers. What you said was spot on, its an equal exchange most times. Most cuddle sessions i have been in its felt like i was the pro although i was the one who paid. So that notion that the pro is bringing this therapeutic healing to broken men is maybe true in some cases, but in most cases it is the simple enjoyment of the cuddling by both parties involved and its reciprocated back and forth. I would even argue that the Enthusiasts that i have had the oprtunity to cuddle with actually do it for the joy of the cuddle and exchange of energy. A couple have told me that they would never accept pay or pay for something that humanity as a whole should be sharing. The vibration and frequency is different with those special souls.

If it's an Enthusiast, then by definition it's for the joy of the cuddle. If you're paying, then maybe, maybe not--probably some blend of joy and profit, depending on the client. I'm aligned with your friends who say that money changes the vibration and frequency. That doesn't mean others shouldn't be allowed to do it if they wish--whatever floats your boat. This is how it works for me.
