@Katota Actually I want to be Auntie Em. I am stranded in a hotel in Abilene, KS since Saturday night. Sixteen inches of snow with a half inch of ice underneath, blowing snow, sub-zero temperatures, 4-5 ft drifts everywhere in town where they closed all three restaurants-McDonalds, Arbyβs and Burger King plus the gas station. The highways have all been closed. I am beginning to channel The Shining. But if I was Auntie Em in Kansas I could ring Dorothy to click those dope ruby slippers and get my butt back home.

@TheFunCartel Very well, Auntie Em it is. Stay warm, if you can...π₯Άππ₯Άπ
@Janelle19 Hmm. I still don't really get it. I can't imagine one IRL person.
You guys really stuck in with this guy. I'm not sure why but good for you i guess. We should have a flag count visible so we can all see the kind of attention each of us get and what kind, just a thought. Well anyway it's Tuesday morning. Gday not mates!
some pick me's have entered the chat.
βοΈπ
@Sooson See there?! Lol!π Many are accused of being a lot of nonsense on the internet, the first time I was accused of being "a pick me" was because I disagreed with an idiot (elsewhere not here on CC) who claims "that black people can't be racist". Lol ππππ
It was a hilarious back and forth, until she finally blocked me...βπ
I just internet accused @pmvines for not knowing a fictional character's name (Aunty Entity, portrayed by the late great Tina Turner π) some odd hours ago in this commentary. Lol πππ And I internet accuse a lot of Dudebros and DudeBRAS being Dudebros and DudeBRAS all the time. πππ
When Internet Accusations are tossed your way (which there will be as long as you're internetting, that is... π), just stand up with your chest out and say...
Lol! And go on about your day...πππ

@ReltvlyCanshes It was a team effort! ππ
@Janelle19 who is the pick me? ive been reading most comments and dont see her. As a man ive learned that many women use that term when its a differing opinion that isnt in alignment with their own belief. In other words a PICK ME is usually given that title because shes a woman who can think for herself and doesnt fall in line with the girl code. Sad actually, because ppl that can think for themselves have become the villian in most stories these days.

@ExclusivelyHeal
I stopped (believing and) trusting in the girl code AND the boy code many years ago. π«βοΈπ«βοΈπ«
I now believe and trust in the Wolf Code! ππΊ
@ExclusivelyHeal I think you're the pick me. Although it wasn't me who said it originally. I do it too sometimes π€£

@Katota Yeah I canβt believe @pmvines didnβt know that. I guess he shattered his credibility eh? Glad I knew it. π
@Auroradream it definitely wasnt me. Im a man who was having a back and forth with another man. PICK ME is a term strictly relegated to one gender.
Pick me (was said) is non binary and pick me girl is specific. That's all I have to say about that.
Well I don't know about non-binary and all of that I'm not into any of that. I'm a full-fledged man so I'll just leave that at that.
@Katota ππΎ
Pick me is what boogers say.
In every situation where the term pick me has been used, from what I see and know it is always been referenced to women or females. I've never seen the term referenced to men in any way form or fashion. But im out, ive given this enough energy. Have a great day all, i know that i will.
If targeted, I will not pick. If picked, I will not fling.
Pick me has no gender, itβs a state of mind. π A pick me boy is a guy who emotionally manipulates women by faking low self esteem. He also may falsely claim to hold progressive views to garner romantic attraction.
@brownglucose tyvm. Astute as ever!
@Katota Well I blocked you for Internet accusing me of not knowing that for a total of 19.seconds then had a change of heart

Interesting. I've never heard the term "pick me boy" before. Any other identifiable traits?
π«π«π«π«
@pmvines I appreciate that! π

I have noticed that too, it's a very ridiculous and sexist "word". Lol π
But im out, ive given this enough energy.
Lol! I don't blame you. Get out, run while you still can! ππππππ
Have a great day all, i know that i will.
@ExclusivelyHeal Same to you, have a wonderful day! π

@TheFunCartel
@ExclusivelyHeal i too identify as full figured since i have all of my fingers and my toes, except for the replacement parts but you wouldn't know that without some sort of radiation assistance. I also struggle with having full understanding of binary's in terms of people, numbers i got you, but if i get picked im ok with that either way.
Interesting. Any other identifiable traits besides being a talking cartoon donkey?
@TheFunCartel Oh stop it, Mr. Aunty Name Struggles! πππ
@GuyverGordon Lol! π That is a very appropriate gif for this sudden turn in the commentary. Good job!ππ
@TxTom π
I didn't intentionally use an ass/donkey as an illustration ... but I can see where that description might fit π
