This is not turning into two events. I appreciate your enthusiasm. But, in my experience, putting up two events will create a paradox of choice, which will depress engagement and lower turnout overall.
(With one event people just need to decide if they want to come and can they swing it. With two events, people end up weighing which one they’d prefer to attend; the pool of likely attendees gets split among two dates, which lowers the incentive for people to commit to either one.)
I just had a similar occurrence with my local cuddle group, when I asked if people wanted to get together on 12/30 or 12/31. And I’m already concerned that the timing of the TX Meet and Greet will force people (who’d be flying in) to make a similar choice.
As you all know attracting a critical mass of attendees is essential to making these gatherings successful. Should the NJ / Philly people pick a date soon-ish?

With the TX meetup announced for 4/12, does that make anybody more or less inclined to do this?
Or does it make people feel more urgency about locking in a date?
I guess I’m inclined to say people with strong feelings about the date should weigh in by 5:00 PM next Friday. And we can make a firm decision then.

Philadelphia or NJ works for me. @MonkeyNeedsAHug I think you need to hit up the mods or @Mark and move this back to general to keep momentum going. I think it is unfair and inconsistent of the mods that Denver and Galveston are in the General section and this is relegated to cuddle requests which I never check on.
As far as Galveston vs. Philly I think most people would have to choose one or the other when the dates are that close together. I would probably opt for Philly/NJ depending where it’s held.
Philly and Jersey close for me. I can't do April 27 or 26. Prior commitment.

Edit: At least I don’t think I did. If it was moved very recently, then I did not.
The title is posed as a question and the initial comment is gauging interest so if it was moved, that’s probably why.
I just merged the Chicago one to the megathread. We should only have meet and greet posts in the general forum that have an organizer and is going to happen.
