Nope, no screening. If you suspect he's a minor I would probably ask for ID. Unsure about the legality of a platonic cuddle with a minor but I wouldn't take chances.
You being 45, being 'young' could very well mean early 20s.
Simply ask him. If you’re still in doubt when the session begins ask him for his ID like Wilder says but offer him the opportunity to hide his name if he’s thaaaaat privacy conscious. And yeah if he’s under 18 even though it’s platonic that’ll be a hard no! (You don’t wanna end up on the next Chris Hansen episode).
Sounds like he could be trying to angle towards fulfilling a fetish to be honest. Totally fine to have your preferences but making a point to draw attention to it and using words like I like having the affection of an older woman is kinda red flaggish

The only person responsible for screening your clients is you. Nobody else is involved in any way, unless you involve them.
This is almost certainly fetishistic behaviour which is banned on this site. Ask the client for age ID: if he is 18 or more, or refuses to provide it, Block and Report immediately.
If he is under 18, Block and Report immediately. People under 18 are not permitted to use this website.
The terms of service are crystal clear on these points.
The red flag is mentioning this stuff before the first session. People who have genuine difficulties get to know their professional for a few sessions before discussing such difficult and personal matters.

Just because you ask someone their age, doesn’t mean they will give you an honest answer. And I doubt they will show their license. And you’re not obligated to cuddle with anyone who doesn’t meet your requirements. I’ve gotten a lot of those “mom experience” requests from creeps on this site lol. Some pretty bizarre ones. My age is given on a Need to Know basis.

(Most people don’t go to the trouble to read a bio, anyway.) My photos aren’t filtered either. I don’t look exactly my age anyway so people can choose based on other factors. 😊
