Just wondering, would female enthusiast (non-pro) cuddlers cuddle with male professional cuddlers?

I am asking this question just out of curiosity, as female enthusiasts don't really respond to much male enthusiasts who message them, and so l wonder if they look for male professional cuddlers to book a cuddle session, as there aren't many male professional cuddlers (but at the same time, l heard that a lot of male professional cuddlers don't really get a lot of female clients, or any clients at all).

  • NO, it's a waste of my money to hire a pro, and a waste of a guy's money thinking he's going to get female clients.
    I am a female non-pro cuddler.

  • Yes there is demand from women clients for men professionals, but it is very small. I have met several in person.

Almost all the men who sign up as professionals are wildly unsuitable and would never attract a woman as a client under any circumstances.

  • Why pay for it when getting paid easily is an option.

Most enthusiast women have a line of guys wanting to cuddle them for free that stretches down the block, so they have no need to pay for it.

  • ( @roni56 Because the money isn't worth it. )

    Basic supply and demand.

There is no marketable demand for professional male cuddlers providing service for exclusively female clients.

But, because of ego, hope, and way waaay too many “romantic comedies”, there are always guys who are SURE that there must be.

    Spoilers: There isn’t.

I wouldn’t hire a cuddler. I have a very unpopular opinion on the exchange of money for cuddling - I was a pro and didn’t like the expectation and entitlement that seemed to come from the folks that wanted to hire me. I’m not trained or certified and so in my mind it felt like something different. For those who are trained, who look at this as a professional service, charging/accepting payment makes sense. I’m not in that camp.

  • They aren't going to pay for something they can get for free.

There are about two women on the message board who have expressed an interest in hiring a male Pro, but to my knowledge, have yet to do so.

I would never seek out a male Pro. I have a fantastic group of male enthusiasts who I treasure.

Also, @PolarMtnHuman95, in case you are not aware...male Pro's have to pay this site a monthly fee, unlike female Pro's who don't pay anything per month, but have a percentage of their cuddle revenue taken.

There are people who will tell you anecdotal hypotheticals of how there are women who will in the most perfect of circumstances absolutely pay a strange interwebs man 80 dollars an hour to cuddle with them, but it's just not reality based. Usually if you see a male pro with karma from women if you look they are other pros who he hired prior to deciding become a pro, or its someone he cuddled without actually trying to charge them. I've heard some will also contact people and just simply ask if they would exchange karma without actually meeting them.

Yes. Karma stays regardless of your status...enthusiast to Pro, and back to enthusiast...

There should be an indicator for the type of Karma it is...Pro, client, or enthusiast, as this would clarify a lot with Male Pro's, as well as Karma in general.

Male Pro's with lots of Karma have been, from my observations, busy clients...not busy Pro's.

  • @roni56 I've quit several jobs since I was 21, due to sexual harassment.

  • Female enthusiast here. 2 things:

as female enthusiasts don't really respond to much male enthusiasts who message them

I respond to male enthusiasts, even if I'm not interested unless they say something cringe, offensive or off putting. If someone isn't responding to you, maybe it's your approach.

To answer your question, no I don't cuddle with male pros. There is no need. There are enough male enthusiasts who want to cuddle for free.

  • I would like to say that my y comment doesn't imply a male pro has any icky intentions I like to give benefit of doubt, and I've met some very authentic and classy guys on here who are pros and I would say are most certainly safe and worth it if you're a woman who wants to hire a cuddler, however if I were a woman on the site who , as many say they have, had bad experiences with men on the site or just sketchy messages and conversations, then trying to put myself in those shoes I might have a hard time convincing myself that it's in my best interest to pay a man to cuddle with me especially given the only qualifications needed is to express interest and provide credit card for payment. There is no training or background checks or anything as they are not employees they merely just use the site to facilitate bookings so there is no less risk than if they weren't a cuddle pro. When you factor in the possibility that they may also scheme for money , like pay me a deposit or gas money etc and then ghost you, as I've heard happens from time to time though not often, then the risks involved would actually be at an increase.

  • I’ve considered doing this and being really cheap like $10 per hour.

  • I would hire a male Pro to have a cuddle session focused on me - So that I can be the Entitled Client for a change!
I can’t afford to at this point but eventually I will.
For every time people make sweeping generalizations on this forum, there will be an exception.

@g_w_t_w: I think similarly where I cuddle as an enthusiast, but very occasionally hire another woman and treat it as part of a "Me Day." I very much hope that you are able to hire a suitable male pro someday and have a few hours of entitlement. 😇

I often book a massage on the same day or get my hair done or get a mani-pedi with my bestie, etc. It is quite nice.

As for hiring a male pro, I wish them the best but that isn't for me.

  • @HarleyGirlKate
I appreciate your response, because we each have different interests.
I would be very careful with selection but would not be interested at all in a female Pro.
I would only hire a male, because of strength and body type specifically, for a platonic safe cuddle.
    Yes, women have preferences also!

And I’ve had that experience just once with a male enthusiast. I did Nothing, he was awesome and asked nothing in return. Spooned me until I fell asleep.

  • Women are like most men, having to pay for cuddles removes that sweet feeling of validation for the inner child being desirable and wanted - it's just thanks to supply and demand, they never need to make that compromise.

If you're great at providing non-sexual energy, you might be able to find victims of sexual assault for example who need that for healing, and would pay for that therapeutic service, letting their guard down and not being assaulted or pushed into having sex. Unfortunately, it's incredibly difficult to know who's asexual and trustworthy enough for that.

Either way, there's not enough demand to build a business there. Trauma work is rare. Those damaged women can also find healing through enforcing strict boundaries and forcing men to pay, especially if they don't mind leaning into their man-hating side - getting them to pay can feel great from a power point of view.

Young men constantly making statements that are not true for all women. 🙄

Like, can you imagine at a center for battered women, there was a man there offering professional and safe, platonic cuddles - the howling would be incredible. People would be calling it predatory and wanting everything shut down immediately and him sent to jail. Meanwhile, at a support group for divorced men in unspeakable pain, a woman offering safe, platonic cuddles would be praised for her generosity and kindness. The situation for men and women is always going to be different when it comes to cuddles.

    @cde123
It would just be in poor taste to try to even offer cuddles at a battered womens shelter who are there due to immediate safety concerns and trauma. So of course that would be shut down and for very good reasons . If you honestly can't tell the difference between that and a man who is divorced then I'm sure there are plenty of people here willing to explain it to you in simplistic terms. I just can't be the one right now.

  • Cuddling abused women at a shelter. Shivers I don't want to violate any rules here so I'll just say ...ummm no.

  • Before I was a pro on this site I regularly paid male and female pro's. :)

It was less that they were a pro and moreso that their profiles were usually better made, had more information, and they always had profile photos.

  • edited January 2025

Indeed @CaramelNotes @pmvines I completely agree and yet, having met some survivors on this site, I know the power of platonic cuddles to help heal, but only when an individual is ready to take that step.

  • @HarleyGirlKate bring on the mani-pedi, girl talk, pizza, and cuddles!! 🤗👸🏻💅🏻

  • From my perspective, the pro/enthusiast dynamic is only based on supply and demand rather than better cuddlers being paid and others being enthusiasts. @g_w_t_w said that she would pay to cuddle a male to have a session solely focused on her, but that is already available even for female pros. I have exclusively seen only pros, and I always strive to make my cuddle partner comfortable and relaxed, focusing on her instead of me, because that is what I enjoy from a cuddle.

  • @btc13
    You speak for only yourself.
The only way I would feel that I could ask to be the complete focus and do nothing in return would be to pay.

  • I am speaking for myself. But, if I am here for these reasons, I find it difficult to believe that there aren't others who are like me.
