are you allowed to use photos that are clearly not you on your profile..this site is wacky sometimes.

    Nope, you aren't. I knew a guy who had a cartoon character on his and admins told him repeatedly to replace it ir he would be banned. He didn't take them seriously and POOF! one day his profile was gone. Found out the hard way that they were serious.

    Of course I know of another person who gets away with it bc no one knows it's not really him, but whatever. Just report this profile & they'll ask him to change it to one of himself.

    I was called on my initial profile picture (generic cuddling stock). I've seen others on site longer than me use similar pictures and it hasn't been problematic for them. I'm not trying to bring attention to anyone else just wondering why my photo was flagged if it's not across the board? I do recall a guy messaging me really pressing me about sharing a picture eventually I did and shortly after I was flagged for profile pictures violation

    I have a disclaimer that my pics aren't selfies. Shouldn't be a problem, the mods don't have selfies and at least 1 utilizes similar pics. (I do own the images, they are my originals.)
    Not everyone knows stock cuddling images, so a disclaimer should be used. Stock images aren't necessarily free. Do you have permission to use them?
    As for using cartoon characters, there could be copyright infringement.

    Enthusiasts can use avatars, but if it's of a real person (or meant to look like a real person if AI is involved or something) and it is not them, then it will probably be removed.

    Mine is a selfie. I definitely understand why other mods wouldn't. Some people that get banned are not happy with the mod that banned them...

    No idea if it’s allowed or not. But no one should cuddle with a person who shows up that clearly doesn’t use their own photo. Only one of many reasons is that they are trying to deceive you. Makes me pretty sure there will be other deceptive surprises during the cuddle. That’s a hard ‘No” if they use the wrong photo.

    This has been one of my pet peeves for awhile on this site. There are so many female pros that use AI generated pics or way overly filtered pics. It’s a false representation of who they are and it’s not okay.

    I had to change my photo when I had my back turned from the camera. Now I have photos of me, but I was very particular in which ones I chose. With my previous line of work, despite this being a legitimate site, I was extremely concerned about someone in my area seeing my profile, recognizing me, and reporting to my work. As it is, I have had a couple people in my life outside of work who stumbled across my profile and recognized me. Thankfully, they were members on the site, so it wasn’t a big deal. But I still worry now and again.
