Most joined because they are looking for a missing, delicate, and complex component of life, even if we all have jobs, bills, limited resources, time, and duties to attend to.
A 🤗 hug, a handshake, or calming words can restore our sense of purpose and appreciation while also subtly restoring the tranquility that many people in modern times lack access to and/or are unable to attain with current partners, family, etc., as well as satisfying our need for human touch, affection, and connection. The platonic caring spirit that we all instill in the core of our being is difficult to describe in words.
How do you serve yourself while leading others with compassion and kindness? Does your natural tendency to be harsh serve any purpose in your life, such as bringing you inner peace and maintaining loving peace around you?

I've had the pleasure of actually doing SEO and web development work for one of the more well known and established pros.
So much of the work is not actually the cuddling part. They also have to find and retain clients, screen people, talk and do video calls, and yeah everything else like people said such as renting space cleaning linens, paying taxes etc.
Not only that but also the "cuddling market" can be very unstable. One moment you can be getting boat loads of clients the other you can be getting no one for weeks worrying about getting bills paid
On top of all this there is the risk to personal well being. I'm actually really happy to say that the work I did on their site seemed to reduce this but honestly I can't imagine being a woman and cuddling with a stranger who could basically be anyone. Mad respect to the people who do it.

The risk of sexual assault and near constant consent violations you encounter as a pro cuddler make this role incredibly emotionally draining. No means NO! It’s not an invitation to palm my breast ten minutes later sicko! Anywho, thanks for this post. 😌
Thanks for the insightful post. Most people feel it's an easy job. We are actually phycologist to most of our clients. Risking our safety as well we don't know what we really getting till our session is up. We definitely have to have our emotions in tact to have a pleasant session for the clients.

So clean bedding, sheets and blankets always! Now I live on the third story and my apts have 1 working washer for all the complex right now.
Everything should be clean and tidy and refreshments if wanted. I have a small place but I always take the time to vacuum, wipe and scrub things , if it's beyond school hours I have to get a sitter and pay her beforehand .
Always need to be presentable and upbeat cuz no one wants to cuddle a downer. A need is to make guest feel as comfortable as possible even if I may be having a bad day. Be stern with boundaries but not too hash. Some cuddlers do not like any scents , some cuddlers have asked for nails done because back scratches, some don't smell nice. All kinds of stuff. It's all ok for me but it's nice when people remember the effort that pros put in.
Don't get me started on the things we do when we don't host lol But a nice cuddle and a good connection is worth it

@ChrissyNoir 1) They might have just gotten tired of inappropriate messaging/behavior, 2) If they're enthusiasts, they might have gotten bombarded with so many messages it got overwhelming and they need a breaK or c) they met a regular cuddle friend and don't need to be here anymore or d) they just need a break for non-site reasons, like work or family demands.
