Getting Ghosted

[Deleted User]Yes4Cuddles (deleted user)

This is nuts!! All my clients ghosted me the day of without warning. Literally 5 of them this past week. No one seems serious about cuddling and of course some have asked for more than cuddling. Am I wasting my time? I have a passion for wanting to help but I have yet to help anyone. Most seem married and sneaking behind the wives. I guess they get cold feet. I am very disappointed. Any suggestions?

  • You could try requiring a small deposit to book. May or may not work

  • I'm sorry this happened to you. There's a lot of that happening from this site, IMO. Try taking a deposit or just vetting them more in other ways?

  • I, too, am sorry that this has been your primary experience on CC.....

First, it comes with the territory, a little like breakage or theft in a market....or maybe like window shopping in an upscale clothing store. Things happen, and we really don't know all the complexities leading up to the disappointing decision. Humans are complex, and situations are ever-changing.

Second, you can vet more actively and completely. Get a sense of the other through more lively messaging. Most of us have intuitive capacities; create protocols that will allow yours to be more active. There are specific strategies I have suggested with pros I have coached. Also, you can require a video chat prior to booking; people are less likely to ghost someone that they have established a connection with.....and you will certainly get a better sense of how serious the client is, and what you sense as your chemistry together.

Finally, it's always hard to comment on demographics within specific areas as regards cuddling. It seems that some cities/states have a developed cuddling community, populated by both pros and clients who follow established protocols.....while others are rather new to the concept, thus have differing practices. Cuddling, both as a profession and a therapeutic or entertaining modality, is still in its infancy, even though CC has been around for years. Thus, new clients just exploring this world may tend to behave less appropriately. You can decide to only schedule with clients with karma from established pros, though this may be counterintuitive, as you your self lack karma. But I would imagine that those with good reviews from previous sessions would be less likely to ghost or be inappropriate....though of course that could still happen, as many will attest.

Good luck, and I hope you stay with it long enough to find positive experiences!

  • I’ve been having the same problem 😅 I will eventually hopefully sometime soon find someone serious
