What's your weird/special talent ?

And by weird, I mean like "late 90s Nickelodeon "Figure it Out' show unique talent" weird. Not like "please cue a CC moderator because there's a weirdo on the thread" weird.

I'll go first. Although I cannot freestyle draw [shading, outlining, [insert proper art terminology here], etc...], I can freehandedly duplicate drawings fairly easy. So if I want to draw something, I find an existing drawing of it. Then bloop, I can draw it on my own. I thought this was actually an easy feat until others, clearly less artistically inclined than myself, said no....that's not easy. I mean folx have asked me to create logos/designs for them simply because they know this and I'm like dude...hire a graphics designer, that's not my wheelhouse. Lol. I blame those little "tests" that used to come in the mail. Perhaps if I had duplicated enough drawings, I'd have the confidence to draw on my own but that's just not a creative outlet I allocated much time/passion to unfortunately.

Anywho, what's your weird/special talent ?

    I have often accidentally snuck up on people. I walk very quietly. And smoothly. At a previous job, a coworker said I floated down the stairs. My head moved in a straight line rather than bobbing as most people's heads do.

    @IronLemon I have that same ability. I don't look like I would/could move naturally stealthily, but I do. I have scared many a people just by showing up without a sound.

    It's not really a talent but my friends always joke I have baby summoning powers 😆 Because no matter where we go together, if I'm there, someone brings a baby in right behind us. Restaurants, movies, etc. Lol just 5 min later without fail, oh there's a baby!

    I can usually tell if someone is going to die even if they look so happy and healthy on the outside. It's an unfortunate talent cuz Its depressing.

    This somehow reminds me that years ago when I was working at Lou Malnati's pizza in Chicago there was a note on few of the accounts not to send a female driver. With one of them even the boys turned out to be an issue so we had to cut him off completely.

    I can wiggle my ears and I am pretty good at reading people. If necessary track them in crowded environments IRL. Give me a map in a video game and I can't find shit.

    Also, for a big guy with a booming voice, I can also be quite stealthy.

    Very weird - three years ago I found I could to ✨Energy work and Reiki ✨ and do it without being near or touching the other person. Normally you have to be trained in it ... and trained for years.

    Was a very odd time to say the least! 🤣😭😂

    Occasionally get requests through Reddit for some free healing which I don't mind doing.

    Horses/dogs and most animals are also drawn to me 🙈

    My kids have always teased me about my God given efficiency and organizational skills as being anal and OCD but this skill helped throughout my life whether my bedroom as a youth or my work places as an adult and even my obsessively clean car helps me get a pass when I get pulled over by the police lol

    I seem to have a insane talent for growing tropical plants despite living in a cooler, dry climate. BUT, I cannot, for the life of me grow plants that are native to my area 🤣😭

    I have a double-jointed thumb, but I was born that way... 👎🏻

    When watching a favorite movie for the zillionth time, my mom and I would very frequently both notice the same "new" thing we had never seen before, at the same time. We were born on the same day.

    @msmoon - this mod is creepin' into this thread, but as a participant. Here goes:

    I have synesthesia. Light/color and sound merge for me at times. More so when I was younger. Most times when there are sharp/immediate sounds.

    Whether by genetics (both parents were marksmen/avid hunters), or natural mad skillz, I'm a terrific shot, especially hand guns. Not a fan of shotguns and their kicks. If I had had gone into the military I would have wanted to be in a branch of gay ninjas, but I disgress. This skill extends to throwing things: I was dodgeball king all throughout my school years, I had a set of throwing knives (too bad I wasn't allowed to practice on my jerk of a brother), and I'm quite good with a bolo. Party trick? Wet hand towel flung to wrap around the shower curtain - every time.

    I had Giordano's pizza for the 1st time in 1976 right out of Navy bootcamp and then again about 10 years ago. Still the BEST pizza in the United States! My humble opinion

    Living in the Cleveland Oh area I had a Giardinos shipped to me shortly after my trip to Chicago 10 years ago, it wasn't close to the meat lovers I had at the restaurant plus options were limited and quite pricey to ship. I never had the chance to try Gino's.

    I will never do it again. It didn't feel good.

    I can wiggle my ears as well, but it's not something I ever do or think about.

    I LOVE Giordano's! I can make a deep dish pizza that's as good as Giordano's.
