How do you plan where and when to cuddle?

So, given that you're meeting a stranger on the internet to cuddle with them, how do you go about it? Do you meet them in public first and get to know them? Do you cuddle on the first meeting? What kinds of safety measures do you take?
Just curious.

    To be honest, it all comes down to personal preference and how comfortable you feel about that particular person, everyone I met on here I've felt fine cuddling from day one but I'd definitely say discuss in advance stuff like where you are and aren't okay being touched, and do get to know them at least a bit on here before meeting in public, although getting to know each other over coffee or something isn't a bad idea if you're both okay with that, I just prefer to get to know them a bit before meeting to ease my first-meeting nerves :)

    I can't speak for everyone but I think it's a good idea to meet first in public and get to know them. I think you'll know from that meeting whether or not you'll feel comfortable enough to go forward with cuddling (which doesn't have to be during the same meeting, btw). I know there's another thread on the forums which lists in detail the steps to take to protect yourself - like giving your meeting information to a friend so someone knows where you are in case anything should go wrong. If you do a search on the forums it should come up.
