As of right now, Team Yes is winning big with 293 votes, to Team No's meager 138 votes.
I'm not sure what percentage of precincts have already reported.
My 2 cents..They do to an extent because like it or not in this world or the real world looks are what get you noticed.Once you have a session with that pro or client then that's when you see if your personalities mesh well.If they do then they become easy to talk to so then the walls start coming down and both of you can start enjoying the moment.So in a way they do mater because it's the first thing that gets noticed but how you vibe well as people is what makes a session a good one.
Initial attraction happens through looks and then on vibes and connection matters.
Attractiveness, as in me or my cuddle partners enjoying looking at each other from an esthetic point of view? No, of course that doesn't matter.
Now, not being physically repulsed by the people you plan to cuddle with though? Very important!! And the inverse is also true, if one or both are very sexually attracted to the other cuddle partner, that's also not gonna work. ๐คท๐ผ
Basically, if looks are going to be a distracting factor for either person at any point on the attractiveness/unattractiveness spectrum, it will end in tears.
@johnnyquest very well said
@Runawaycuddles: Exactly how I feel; very well said.
Does anyone ever consider hiring a cuddle provider for a session but then actually change their mind fearing they would have too much attraction for the cuddle pro?
I bet more cancel for the exact opposite reason.
Yes, this has happened to me twice, once with an enthusiast and once with a pro. I didn't cancel though; I just exercised self restraint.
With the enthusiast, I was one-and-done. With the pro I remain very attracted on both an emotional and physical level, but we have become friends so I put up a boundary in my own mind that I would not cross because friendship is precious to me and I wouldn't let something like attraction ruin that bond.
This for me is a good thing about getting older--I have learned what it truly important to me and developed a knack of putting aside ephemera and acting upon thinking that is opposed, destructive, or orthogonal to what I am looking to get out of lifem
@HarleyGirlKate
Wait, you mean that is the reason that we didn't cuddle anymore? Would it have helped if I uglied myself up more for you ? Maybe rubbed myself down with hot dog flavored water?
Your DAMN Right They Do
If @HarleyGirlKate has cuddled with @pmvines then since I've cuddled her, have I cuddled @pmvines too? And he, me?
@Auroradream , I could be wrong but I don't think the transitive law applies here ๐
@Auroradream
If that's the case then where's my damn karma ?
CTD?
I think the survey has been stolen.
I'd say yes, but not in the way some might think. For me, they just have to have the vibe of someone I could be buddies with. Like, I don't want someone who looks like my dad for instance by that I don't mean just 'older than me'. I mean specifically like him, in stature face etc.
To me, looks matter. For platonic cuddle my preference would be someone who look mystic, hippy or next door type. I had two of the three such cuddling experience here and liked them. I am very short and small frame I prefer cuddlers who are not large.
Not all pros respond to me. I might not be ugly, but very unfamiliar type to many where I live. My smarts & humor doesn't show until people spend time with me. So how I look in their eyes definitely matters.
Not a single enthusiast ever contacted me or responded. I am either unattractive, unfamiliar type, or too attractive (for platonic cuddle) ๐๐

LOL, you're funny! It is true though, I'd very much like to meet you and have a chance to experience what I am told by others are your amazing cuddles. If you ever find yourself in the SF Bay area, let me know, please.
I will say my opinion on this has changed after cuddling hundreds of people in the last 5 years...
Conventional good looks definitely get you ahead in life .. that being said:
I've had horrible cuddles with "hot" people where I didn't feel safe at all, bad energy, jittery nervous system etc.. and magical transcendental false duality eradicating WonderCuddles โข with all kinds of people society might deem unattractive.
As a dance teacher once said to me: How it looks is not how it feels how it looks is not how it feels...
In my opinion quality of touch, hygiene, and general conversational skills + authenticity far outweigh looks
(I have thought a lot about this as I just taught 24 hours of intensive touch classes this week)
As a pro....looks/age/gender/height/etc absolutely don't matter. But like @justjennn said if MY looks (or my cuddle outfit) seem to be the ONLY things that matter when someone contacts me....it usually turns out that they aren't here for platonic cuddles. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Obviously looks matter to most enthusiasts here, which comes down to preference and is healthy within reason. But I agree with @Cuddlenovice08 that the overall appearance of a person's pics and profile is what should matter more when looking for a cuddle buddy ๐ค๐ค๐
@TxTom ๐คฃ๐คฃ and we're still waiting for Nevada to report their votes....๐
