I’ll be the square, @RedFox16 and @Ineedahugortwo and say I don’t get it. Unless we’re talking Chewbacca levels of hair, people look great as they are. Personal choice of course but not for me.
My own funny story is that I was getting a haircut once and without even asking, so fast I was not able to move, my stylist zipped my left eyebrow down like a freshly moved lawn. Apparently it was too much for her…
I flinched away and looked at her in utter disbelief. Poor woman was nearly in tears because I reacted so strongly.
She apologized and I choked back my anger because now I had to do the other one. I looked utterly ridiculous. 🤣
My hair is sandy blond. You pluck or shave any of it and I look bald.
Yes, I was dramatic that day. And self conscious beyond belief.
@RedFox16 During my last dentist appointment, I suddenly heard these horrific screams, like a man going through labor pains. A few moments later, the technician walked into my room, and I asked, “Is everything okay?”
Trying to hold back her laughter, she replied, “Oh yes, everything’s fine! We just have a patient who’s very sensitive to needles… and he’s getting his gums numbed for a tooth extraction.”

They’re fine now but now I eye with careful suspicion anytime a stylist gets near my face with those clippers. 😇
