This tech is still in its infancy but it is maturing quickly. These new “gloves” are light years ahead of the 1st gen video game gloves. In a few years, virtual cuddles might take on a whole new meaning.

Agreed. I have been using AI a lot lately with paid subscriptions to ChatGPT, Grok 3, and Perplexity. They are outstanding at many research tasks and great tools. Grok 3 in particular has a LOT of “personality” (actually several distinct personalities to choose from if you want to verbally interact with it).

If I recall correctly, Howard had a remote controlled robot hand and he used it for… unauthorized “research”, and wound up in the ER because the robot wouldn’t let go.
I was working on my PhD when Big Bang theory started and I remember thinking,”this isn’t a comedy, it is a documentary”. I KNOW these people.
