  • Thoughts on cuddling with women in relationships..

My thoughts are the same as cuddling with men in relationships, and I mention it all in my profile info as well. 😁

  • Platonic cuddles: I love you as a friend
Plutonic cuddles: I love you to death

  • I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'll cuddle anyone who needs the destress. If there is some morality hang up,... either this isn't the thing for you or you aren't keeping it platonic

  • And I have to giggle with the high horse people, as long as everyone knows blah blah..... Nope no one is forced to tell you their relationship status and most won't. And that is ok .

    @Janelle19 I disagree. 😊

@Janelle19 And noone is forced to cuddle with those who refuse to keep lying to their partners about their CC activities here either. 😁

And I have to giggle with the high horse people, as long as everyone knows blah blah....

@Janelle19 Lol! Me sitting up high, while you giggle down below is just fine with me. 😆

  • And I have to giggle with the high horse

Is the horse into flower or vape cartridges?

  • I don't ask about relationships and don't tell. This place isn't for that anyway. And another reason is I feel if I would say I am in a relationship to some then I would get less cuddlers. Shouldn't work like that because it shouldn't matter to them since it isn't a dating site anyway. So to enforce it not mattering I don't ask or tell. I let them take it or leave it from there.

There are arguments to be made for both points of view. I think the issue arises if you get dragged into the middle of someone else's relationship. The idea of platonic cuddling is not so well known yet and a lot of partners may doubt it exists. And how do you prove a negative? How do you prove that nothing non-platonic has gone on? You don't know who someone's partner might be, how jealous they might be, or what they might be capable of.

Cuddling is of course platonic. I just hate when people play stupid about it like there is absolutely no reason why a partner should have an opinion about it, or be jealous, or why hiding it because they know it's a boundary for their partner might be considered deceitful. It's really stupid and an insult to my intelligence to say that. It's not the same as playing bridge or grabbing lunch. Being platonic in context does not remove social norms and intimacy being shared with someone other than your partner. It doesn't bypass the need for communication, consent and boundaries. Frankly if someone doesn't respect their partners boundaries then why would you expect that they will respect yours ? It's often compared to a massage or a pedi. At no point is a nail tech or masseuse changing into sleepwear and crawling into bed or sofa or what have you to fawn on each other. So yes platonic cuddling is indeed platonic, but you can't say it's the same and if you truly believe that then you don't live in reality. That in no way shape or form means there is anything at all wrong with cuddling, but it does mean its a grey area when it comes to relationships and the reasons they hide it.

Pluto is also the Roman god of death.

  • @IronLemon ... I know ... but all I could think from your comment was plutonium (which is why I had the nuclear gif). It felt like it had the dramatic effect it needed. 😄

  • It is how some relationships end.

  • If the cuddling is platonic why would it be at all necessary to fret about it disrespecting the sanctity of a relationship?

@peachpitt Because if the person you are cuddling with has not told their partner, and the partner finds out, they may not believe it's platonic. They may even take their anger out on you.

@peachpitt Not to blame any victim, but sometimes the words “jealous”, “batshit”, “crazy”, and “violent” all combine as adjectives to describe a single human.

That human is often a man, especially one who feels betrayed, foolish, and heartsick.

You only have to have experience with a single “domestic violence” situation to want to never experience that trauma again.

And so, while unfair perhaps, you protect yourself by reducing variables.

Which obviously sucks, but it isn’t my fault that the world is made of teeth and I am made of meat.
