I was listening to Spotify and I realized how all over the place my music is so I thought it would be fun to post a list of 20 songs that show how eclectic my list is. This list is of songs that speak to me, or describe who I am or just songs that calm me down or make me want to play drums lol

I’d love to see others post a Spotify list of 20 songs that speak to you and show how different your musical prowess is!!! I hope you like my list and I’d love for others to show me their lists so maybe I can learn some new songs!!!!!!

    I don't do Spotify or the music apps (I'm a caveman I know ) but when it comes to music it's pretty varied . I do kinda get into phases where I'll revisit something and then go down rabbit hole. Lately been revisiting a lot of old street punk and Oi! But there is still a lot of other stuff sprinkled in like Dax Riggs, Bowie, Ledbelly, Tom Waites, Iggy Pop. But today I was introduced to a black gaze band I hadn't heard before so after going through their discography will likely be revisiting all the old black metal bands. Then I'll probably start digging into some mellow stuff to offset all that.

    From the Beach Boys to Alice in Chains, The Band to Metallica, Temptations to Earth Wind & Fire, Bee Gees to George Strait, I really enjoy it all

    My musical taste is all over the place … just still not a fan of country music although there are some artist I enjoy usually older country crossover to fold or rock albums.

    For cuddle sessions I tend to like to play lo-fi or slow jazz

    I have Nirvana to Andrea Bocelli, Toby Keith to Usher, The Old Tymers to JVKE, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Led Zeppelin to Jackson Browne.
    Classical & Rap and Classic Rock,Disco, Folk, Metal, British Rock, 60s oldies to K Pop, Musicals, Piano & many soundtracks. Started buying albums in 1963 - Meet the Beatles was my first. 60 years of collecting. So much music!
    No religious but lots of Christmas. Over 8,000 songs on Spotify

    Oddly enough I also like Christmas music despite not being a Christian. Love the old Sinatra and Dean Martin stuff.

    @easylike lots of good classics! I was listening to the beach boys while I drove to Plant City for the strawberry festival a couple weeks ago

    @sage91436 same for me with country. I have a few I enjoy because of nostalgia or because I sing a lot of country but I don’t usually go out of my way to listen to it.
    I also do Lo-Fi for my cuddles or one of my cuddle playlists 🤗

    And I’m the same for Xmas music. I’m not religious at all but you give me a good version of O Holy Night and I’m flying 😆

    For metal, it would be considered probably classic/early metal like Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Judas Priest, Irin Maiden but not all. I loved a lot of hard rock late 60s - early 70s like Steppenwolf etc.
    K-Pop, I like some of their music they’re doing on their own. I heard it all a lot in Seoul but would have to look up names.
    I’m not religious at all but grew up with it. Oh Holy Night can give me chills, so many are beautiful.
    Have a listen to Vince Guaraldi. Black Orpheus. Lots of jazz from the 1950s because my dad had a big collection. I grew up with music.
    Now I’ll check out tomorrow, the music you all have listed!

    @4bearhugs I love your list!!! And I grew up on newsboys, Pillar, Red, DC Talk. All the good stuff! I got to see newsboys live a long time ago. I think I was too young to appreciate it 😭😭 but definitely agree Peter Furler was where it’s at! I love Red too. The harmonies when they hit it are perfect! There are a couple bands I haven’t heard of there so I’m going to have to look them up!!

    @Sheena123 I didn't mention most of my regulars like Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch, DemonHunter, Switchfoot, Bride, Guardian, DCTalk, and Disciple. I didn't think most here would go for that style. You have proven me wrong.

    If you don't know TFK, their syncopations are fire!

    @4bearhugs i love TFK 😂😂 and demon hunter is so friggin good. “Snap your fingers, snap your neck” is my fave from them!

    With TFK, I have a few fave songs from them. Can’t choose 🤣🤣 I also love reliant K

    As a kid., I grew up listening to 60s and to 70s Disco cause that what my mom was allways playing and for a while I thought the Bee Gees were women 🤣🤣🤣

    I love the older David Bowie stuff.
    Tired of 60s, 70s, 80s . Including Metal which I used to love.

    The only band I may never get tired of is Rammstein. I think they are brilliant and one the greatest ever. I was first attracted by the music but the lyrics are even better.

    Been going through a lot of southern metal and sludge and southern punk today. Since you spend half your time in Florida you might like some of it lol. The south isn't always known for it's greatness, but we do and always have had some amazing music, though lots is in the underground and you have to dig around a little some here's some that I like
