Lol! 😆 So far none of them scare me, and I am very secure in my own insanity (😜🤪😛) to happily say The Predator is by far the most attractive and sexiest (fictional alien) to Me.😁

My gut answer is the xenomorphs from the "Alien" franchise. I might think about it and give a different answer tomorrow
Nothing comes to mind immediately. I will say that anything that looks like a really big bug would probably do it though.
Tyranids from Warhammer 40K, easily They make the xenomorphs look like a small cockroach infestation
At first, I felt all cuddly for Diana.
But she became scary when she swallowed an agouti, underwent a skin peeling, and then violated Earth's TOS.

That is a good question; I'm not sure. "The Thing" was definitely scary.
@Gamer1992: Yes, Tyranids are definitely frightening and over the top, like everything in that delightfully dark setting. I used to play Nids some years ago when I got into 40K for the painting but stayed for a few editions for the tabletop gaming. Also like Gene Stealer Cults as an ally and a chance to paint vehicles and apply weatheribg techniques my dad taught me from his hobby of painting WW2 models.
My main faction though was daemons. I enjoyed painting Nurgle daemons the most and in general think that daemons are more frightening than Tyranids because while the bugs can eat your planet, daemons can functionally do so too and also eat your soul or torture you in creative ways forever.
Still, I loved my Tyranids. I had a lot of fun with them.
Somehow this reminds me of the Knids in Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. Probably the only SF monster to give me a nightmare. Though I was pretty young at the time.
@TxTom @GuyverGordon Even though V: the minseries and V: the Final Battle are both terribly dated now, campy, and crappy special effects, they were still really well thought-out and force the viewer to think.
The "we had to get you out in a suitcase - don't you see, they HAVE to stay" scene always tugs at my heartstrings.
Quite honestly, there has never been any thing that we have imagined more terrifying than ourselves.

But Fremen, because they remind me of what I struggle to live through every day. They were deliberately written to satirize the “old ways of thinking” that the original creators of OG Star Trek had to constantly tiptoe around and placate.
I sigh wistfully at thinking we were somehow beyond such thinking…

The aliens from alien are only dangerous because of humans. Without humans they would hang out on their planet unable to breed until their eggs become unviable.
I guess since it has to be an alien species it cannot be humans(my first pick), so I guess I would pick the Zerg.
