I admit, I flipped a thread posted by @BlueIris around. I wanted to see if we can all share some positive stories about first messages. Were there cases when someone just hit the nail on the head? Share some examples!
I got one that said “ hey , you wanna Cuddle?”
I get periodically ... “I saw you on my visitors log and thank you for visiting my profile . Have a great day !”
I got couple of them and I liked because it felt good that I was able to connect with them well through my profile. Here it is:
I really like your profile? I wish you lived closer. You sound like such an awesome cuddler...
I briefly looked over your profile and am so inspired by you and your reasons for cuddling!
————————- And here is one more message that wasn’t first message but something that keeps me engaged on this site. Below message tells that we how we collectively truly make this site even more of a better place not just by cuddles but how we engage with each other:

The nicest first messages I’ve gotten from people that I’ve cuddled, though, are ones I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing verbatim. That’s because the best first messages offer something personal in them — their reason for cuddling, trepidation about being new at this, or something else that gives me a very real sense of what they’re looking for and why they’ve chosen to message me.
A somewhat generic one that I’ve gotten a few times is along the lines of, “How’s the site been treating you?” For a generic message, I think that one works pretty well. It gets us talking — I can talk about how the work of cuddling has been going for me, then they can tell me about the good and bad they’ve experienced on the site (or in the cuddling world in general).
I much prefer this thread to the other very negative one.
The trick is standing in the tension.

I got one message out of the blue today that sort of made my day.. I felt like flying out to Just meet out the cuddler who wrote such a wonderful message! This site has some really humane cuddlers who write things to brighten other people’s day!
I think of new folks who are new to cuddling and all... when they send me messages about how they're new to it and would like to try out their very first cuddle session with me.. I'm always so flattered!
I am honestly so glad that you made this POSITIVE post. As a guy that is guilty of the “hey, how’s it going?” Type of messages, I took some notes ?. Honestly, I think that with social media the way it is we are simply exposed to too many people. The person who wakes up to 87 messages in the morning will sooner or later consider a casual greeting as “generic and boring”. It’s not necessarily that either party is in the wrong, But first impressions are hard when you are just a screen.
Not exactly a first message but I think this fits here. I had connected with a girl on this site that insisted our first session be in a public park. She was concerned for her safety. She told me if it went well, she would be happy to comee to my house for a second session.
At the end of the first session, I asked her if she had enjoyed herself. She said she had. I asked her if she was up for a second cuddle at my house and she said “Well, I’m pretty sure you aren’t a mass murderer...”.
So I’ve got that going for me.... Which is nice....
I like personal messages, that also acknowledge they read my profile, and possibly even have some things in common with me. Or they mention some hobbies they like.
I did certainly get a few messages that were thoughtfully, and well written.
I’m not one who usually gets messages but I did get a very nice one from a professional cuddler across the country from me saying my last cuddle request was very genuine and wished me well on finding a cuddler. It was very nice.
As someone mentioned before, I love when I get a message from a cuddler thanking me for visiting her profile. It makes me feel like they care about cuddling and they are engaged with the site.
