Female Enthusiast Travel

Good morning from here,

I'm in the suburbs of Chicago, and see that many women are 25 - 35 or so miles from me. In addition, there are other large suburbs that are 40 miles away. I'm curious as to how far female enthusiasts are generally willing to travel to meet up with a male enthusiast.
Thank you in advance for your responses.

It's extremely hard to even get a cuddle with a female enthusiast. You're likely on a line with a hundred other guys, or more, depending on your location. Easier to wrangle a unicorn, sad to say.

  • If you can get a female enthusiast to return a message, be happy with that alone. Expect to travel to her and meet whatever conditions she asks. Make no specific requests and handle her like an balanced egg on a broomstick.

  • Yes if you can agree to meet up you should travel to her area.

  • Yes if you can agree to meet up you should travel to her area. (It's the gentleman thing to do)

  • I always insist that the guy come to me for the first couple of sessions. Once I know I can trust him I have no problem going to him occasionally but I've pretty much set my driving limit at an hour or so. For this reason I'm hesitant to talk to anyone further than that and definitely say no to people over 2 hours away (thinking it would still be an hour's drive if we met in the middle.)

@SquishyJackie Have you cuddled with other women as an enthusiast?

  • Wow!! Thank you all for your responses. Guys, it's unfortunately what I've been seeing. I would normally have no problems driving, except due to vision loss, i can no longer drive.
Squishy, thank you for your honesty. It is greatly appreciated.

Try reaching out to some folks and make a connection and see how it goes. It's a little arbitrary of a question to ask how far someone will travel to see somebody. Most are willing to go the extra mile if it's someone who they have a genuine interest in hanging out and being friends with. If you don't make the effort for them to want to visit, then they aren't going to travel one solitary mile to cuddle.

  • @MarkT12 I had conducted an unofficial experiment with other professionals and enthusiasts. And I can agree with what I’ve seen with the posts here- definitely correlates. The times I’ve seen a female professional cuddler and/or enthusiast reach out in that enthusiast role, more times than not, the male enthusiast responding did not ensure the safety or comfort level of the female enthusiast.

  • Sorry to hear about your vision issues, if you are able to uber to your cuddler, you might consider that, (I have a friend who has vision but not allowed to drive who does that). But if that cost is too high, you might consider a pro who will travel to you after you explain your situation.

The issue with uber, and various ride services from commercial to medical transportation, is that the number of disabled people that can use, or even afford, them is quite small.

I completely understand, and totally agree, that everyone needs to look after their own safety, but it does lead many of us who are disabled into a very isolated life.

I cannot go to them, and of course they are hesitant or unwilling to come to my home.

Which is why, personally, I am here for pen pals, because cuddling simply won’t happen.

  • I thought this was going to ask the following, which I’ve wondered about.

If an enthusiast agrees to travel to me, I imagine I could pay for the Uber, (or their train ticket). But what about reimbursing them for gas and tolls, if they drive?

The latter is less expensive, but I imagine the site might get tetchy about someone handing cash to an enthusiast, regardless of the reason.

okay I guess my suggestion is not great. sorry, :(
As an enthusiast, I am not up for driving out anyway. So to do it as a service seems to cross over into pro territory. i.e. exchange for an service.

  • @CharlesGrove I can definitely understand that. If you ever need a penpal, fee free to reach out. No one should feel isolated, without hope. 💯🦋 hugs and healing vibes to you!

Because I can’t host, if I were to cuddle I would have to travel.
Because I no longer have a job, I couldn’t afford gas to travel.
Because of these reasons, I no longer cuddle.
If someone offered to pay for gas to travel to them, I guess I couldn’t accept because I’m not a Pro. If they offered to help as a friend? Not sure that’s ok.

  • @g_w_t_w i could be wrong, but my impression was that if someone is paying for your transportation (be it a plane/train/bus ticket or gas/tolls), that that does not cross the line into making you a pro or them a client, since they are not paying for your time or for you to provide any kind of service for them, they are simply facilitating you being able to meet and the actual cuddle or interaction is completely uncompensated…

Maybe @Sideon or @cheeseboy can comment? I agree it is not abundantly clear/easy to find the answer to this, and there may be some nuance I am not considering

  • @NYCLatnGuy no it doesn’t cross the line if it is a mutual agreement that you are paying their transportation. Same if you go out to eat. Normally that would be dutch but I paid for the dinner once because I knew it would be a financial burden for her. Being pro means paying for cuddles. Nothing more.

  • The paying for travel is a gray area. If its actual reasonable travel costs (gas or Uber), that could be ok. If an enthusiast is asking for $150 to travel across town, that's seen more as a pro in disguise.

I'll defer to other moderators to chime in also.

Uber can hit $150 if it is a round trip in a large city. I would probably go dutch on that.

  • As an Enthusiast, I will only travel to nearby areas not too far from Gainesville (like Buford, Lawrenceville, Cleveland, etc)😊.

So far, I have not traveled anywhere to cuddle as I don't get many responses and most Enthusiasts tend not respond back once I have messaged them...The few that do respond back tend to break contact and vanish. Lol. 😄

Eh, it is what it is? 🤷😁

I do explain "how far I will travel" and I do mention overnight stay possibilities for cuddlers who live in Atlanta or further in my profile too. 😊

  • I think the view is a bit antiquated about women enthusiasts on here. I have paid and traveled to met my cuddle buddies and not expected anything from them up to over an hour away. It’s up to someone to offer if they want to help with travel but I don’t expect anything as an independent individual.

  • I have flown several states away to cuddle as an enthusiast for someone I've been talking to for a while or have had multiple cuddles with. Locally, I've driven up to 4 hours away for a cuddle. It's more about conversation leading up to how far I'm willing to drive and of course how our schedules line up.

  • I’m an enthusiast and usually only drive 15 mins. I’m fortunate that most enthusiasts I’ve cuddled with have volunteered to drive to my side of town.

I am new to this site but not to platonic cuddling.
In my experience, enthusiasts typically like to host and be in their familiar surroundings. I have traveled to them for the first few meetings before they are comfortable traveling to me. Few miles to couple of hours away.
