  • Am I the only one who thinks Kevin Costner playing Robin Hood with a California accent is hilarious ?

    πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

    @pmvines He tried to "sound British" in the first few minutes of Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. 😜

    @wilderdude the fight scene between Carradine and Norris in lone wolf mcquade is one of my favorites of all time…highly recommended if you’ve never seen it

  • Wayne and actor are two words that should not go together

    😊

    @TheFunCartel Lol! I fell asleep watching him too. πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

    I tried watching the original True Grit with John Wayne years ago...😴😴😴😴

    Lol! Another original that I TRIED SO HARD TO NOT FALL ASLEEP on, was The Magnificent Seven.

    I failed miserably watching that one too...😴😴😴

    But the remake with Denzel Washington, Peter Sarsgaard and Ethan Hawke ( and some others πŸ˜†), kept my attention through and through.πŸ˜πŸ‘

  • Seems like most of the people who use it have no idea what it means other than "stuff I don't like".

    @IronLemon πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

    Hey, I am okay with watching movies that goes SLEEP with it. πŸ˜†
    I am also okay with watching movies with actors that causes a SLEEPY reaction for me too. 😴

    Lol πŸ€£πŸ˜†

  • @Katota Do you think there should be a sequel to Sleepless in Seattle called Sleeping in Seattle?

  • @IronLemon Lol! It could be, though I will admit I have never watched Sleepless In Seattle. 🀷

    It didn't interest me...Sorry 😊

  • @Katota I never saw it either. Not even sure what it is, other than that I'm pretty sure it's not about insomnia. Then again, Insomnia wasn't really about insomnia either.

  • @IronLemon I think was (based off the trailers) it leaned into romantic comedy or a romantic dramedy genre..Lol! But if Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan wanna do a sequel of just Sleeping In Seattle then I can definitely use it as another "movie version" Sleeping Pill. πŸ˜΄πŸ˜†

  • Insomnia? Was Robin Williams in that one...πŸ€”

  • He was, but he had a minor role.

  • Ohh...I never watched it, but I do know of its existence.😊

    I found it really strange that edris elba was a Norse god in the Thor movies.

    they were based on Norse mythology and really should have looked the part.

    πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

    @wilderdude Lol! Disagree to disagree, IF a full blooded White man (who clearly isn't "half Asian" in any way shape or form πŸ˜†πŸ˜) can portray a character named Kwai Chang. Then Heimdall can DEFINITELY be Black and British! πŸ˜†πŸ‘

  • I hope Coraline is left alone for eternity. It's pretty timeless

    @Katota carradine looks the part. Even though he has no Asian blood he looked as though he could be half Asian. Same way I always thought Leonard nimoy could pull that off, despite being 100% white.

    Idris elba has no business playing the part of a Norse god lol. It's downright ridiculous.

  • @Shake Even if there were somewhere to go with a Coraline sequel, I doubt anyone would touch a Neil Gaiman property these days. I was thinking something similar about Mirrormask yesterday.

    It occurs to me that when I heard rumors about a Spaceballs sequel, I was looking forward to it. Though I would have been disappointed that it wasn't called Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2. But alas, instead of anything like that, the sequel was a lame animated series where the actors read their lines almost without inflection or emotion.

    Since unicorns don’t actually exist I simply don’t care if they hire a horse, a goat, a zebra, a giraffe, or a moose, you know?

    So long, of course, as the horse, goat, zebra, giraffe, or moose is paid fairly, treated with tolerance and respect, and works in a safe environment.

    @Katota carradine looks the part.

    πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

    @wilderdude And Idris LOOKS just like a Viking! πŸ˜πŸ‘

  • I just looked up David Carradine's picture. To me, he looks about as Asian as Mickey Rooney.

  • ok, now you're just lying to yourself.

    i've known full blooded asian people that look pretty much just like carradine when he's playing that role. It's all about the ability to pull off a look. Look around on the internet, there many people that thought he really was part asian.

    how many nordic people do you know that look just like idris elba? lol.

  • Remakes are ok. This may be not relevant but I like book to film adaptations. The books are almost always better but some of the adaptations are good!

  • @wilderdude You seem to be taking this rather personally. You just see things differently, nothing wrong with that.

  • I just looked up David Carradine's picture. To me, he looks about as Asian as Mickey Rooney.

    @IronLemon HA! πŸ˜†πŸ‘

    And Mickey Rooney definitely DON'T "look Asian" and yet he portrayed one in Breakfast At Tiffany's. Lol! Thank you. I forgot about Rooney. πŸ˜πŸ˜†

  • how many nordic people do you know

    @wilderdude Lol! I don't know any Vikings personally, but I do know that Idris Elba BECAME a Viking God the day Thor was theatrically released. πŸ˜†

  • now you're just lying to yourself.

    @wilderdude Just like Hollywood lied to Bruce many years ago...😏

  • @Katota Rooney didn't portray a real asian person, that was a caraciture of an asian person. No, that wasn't "cool".
