Help finding same-day availability with a Pro

I'll start by saying this request is not me being presumptuous, I promise. I understand same day requests are far from ideal, and that this is a Me problem.

My daily work travel schedule is long but has long breaks. It covers 100 miles, changes overnight and gives no advance notice.

I've noticed some Pro pages specifically mention Same Day accommodations, but many do not. I don't want to waste anyone's time. I also completely understand that even someone with SD avail will have to decline most requests. I'm ok with that as long as there's reasonable accommodation attempts on both sides. 1 out of 5 requests accepted would feel like success to me. I hope that's realistic.

Looking for my first cuddle. I think it would be great therapy for me, but I'm struggling to find the right availability for me.

Any advice on search, approach, communication, or really any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all!

  • I bet this is a common issue with folks whom have an unpredictable travel schedule for work.

If only there was something... some kind of designation, in addition to the Pro designation, that would indicate that a Pro is available on short notice (per all vetting is satisfied).

Some kind of "short notice" indication on the Pros profile that is searchable. That would be super.

  • I think my record is 2-3 hours from the initial message to the actual meet. Reached out after got ghosted by another pro.
Same day is quite possible if everything aligns.

@Hugsandblisses I have run into a similar issue in the past, with uncertainty about my availability until the day of. I have had good success with reaching out to the people I am interested in in advance, and explaining my situation. Many people are not able to accommodate, but a number of them have told me to reach out when the opportunity becomes apparent, and if they are available, they will do their best to meet.

If you are only dealing with pros, make sure you clarify if they expect additional fees for such an arrangement (if it is not posted on their page), but it has been my experience that the greatest success has been with those who I have spoken with in advance and who express openness to the idea.

As with all things here, clear and effective communication will help you most.

  • When I’m here in Florida, it’s easier for me to do same day snuggles because I don’t have any other job but cuddling. It just depends on the pro. When I’m back in Canada, it’s harder because I always have a full time job.

  • All you can do is reach out and ask ☺️ If they have “no same day accommodations” don’t even bother trying to squeeze something in. I’ve done many same day accommodations because my schedule is so flexible, so it is definitely possible. Sometimes my last minute cuddles have been the absolute best! Most people need about 3 hours to shower and commute.

  • First, I'd like to thank you for the way you asked this question, and that it's clear you're actually genuine about it and not at all acting entitled....which almost never happens with these types of questions here! Very refreshing ☺️😉🤗

As for last minute....I do agree with @Violetblanket about needing time to be able to get ready (the time needed can vary). So the earlier in the day that you can reach out, the better. ☺️

Also, your chances might increase if you're able to travel to them. I know that's not always feasible when you're traveling, but it's just an idea. I don't mind traveling, but that's just because traffic at night is SO easy and I prefer driving at night 🤗 But other pros might not be the same.

As for communication, it seems like you already have an ability to communicate very well and respectfully, so I wouldn't change that. Acknowledging last minute and possibly asking what else would be helpful in order to make a session possible for them, would be nice. (Don't do anything that's beyond reasonable, tho....if someone takes that opportunity to ask for/demand crazy things 😒)

Good luck and hopefully you're able to find a great cuddler!! 🤗☺️😎

  • A same day accommodation button would be nice. I, for one, prefer not to have same day bookings, even for my massage business, however, I do accommodate them when I am able to do so.

  • Read their profile in its entirety. Some indicate they are indeed able to accommodate last minute requests and if they charge additional fees or not. Just reach out and be polite. Explain the situation and give details: will you host, what time you'd like to meet, any special accommodations, pricing confirmations, etc. You will never know unless you ask.

    @Hugsandblisses

If your work never sends you to the same locale more than once, that’s a tough one.

But if you know that there are certain areas that you will be going to, however randomly, from time to time, you can reach out to the pros in that area, and respectfully explain your circumstances with work, and ask if they are open to working with you on that short notice.

Most won’t, of course, but maybe a few will.

A same day accommodation button would be nice.

I would love a little bell icon to press so all cuddlers will be at my beck and call. I think I am entitled to that. Also a 💩 button to summon @pmvines to provide the real sh&t on topics encountered on the forums.

I feel I am entitled to all this. Besides, don’t most female cuddlers have a pink version of the Batphone waiting for last minute cuddle emergencies?

  • Yeah just ask, don’t overthink, read their profile for their screening or intro requirements, state your name, date and time you would like a cuddle.

  • @NYCLatnGuy Great advice. I'll just share that I've had a few Pros say they would try to accommodate Same Day. A couldn't-hurt-to-ask, kind of thing. These never work. I'm sure the intentions were pure, but the reality felt like an impossibility. Decline after decline. I always give 6-10 hours notice. Maybe I've just been unlucky.

@RedFox16 Thanks so much did taking the time. Appreciate you. I want Pros to know that some SD requests are out of necessity, and in no way reflect entitlement or a lack of appreciation for their time. I can tell you get it. I can’t speak for how it feels to be on the other end of a SD request, but yes, communication can ensure I don't sound like I'm walking into a busy Salon demanding to be seen for a manicure. Lol.

Some really great advice from most. I've read it all three times.

Thanks gang. Feeling a little better about my prospects.

  • I'm not sure how asking if someone is available on short notice translates to "entitlement."

Quite a few times in my life, I've had to ask friends, family, or some commercial businesses if something can be done on short notice.

If they say, "no," fine. I deal with it.

However, if I refuse to acknowledge their answer and continue pressing them, then yes, that might come off as being entitled.

  • Agreed rushed same day cuddle inquiries are far from ideal to an enthusiast or Pro, but with details and genuine care in your message it can and does happen. Keyword genuine approach and details.

I’ve reworded my bio to preface just this, several times.

“⌚️📝Being well-prepared for our time together and fostering a calm, healing atmosphere is essential for cultivating a meaningful experience.

🏃‍♂️💨Rushing is not conducive to anyone's enjoyment, so advance booking is highly recommended.

👩‍🏫Same day appointments are available, IF I am 🥰😌so do be kind and crystal clear🔮 in your inquiry.”

    I accommodate when/if I can 🤗

Most lmi have nothing tangible in the request such as the main details needed to make the request into a booked cuddle with traffic and time of day, there are obstacles to be timely, not frazzled and lacking full intake aka customer service.

It is always wonderful to get a review stating the urgent cuddle request was accomplished and with cuddling success. While a karma is not required, it is a beautiful gesture to make and gives other inquires a view of our compassionate nature to accept last minute requests. It’s not easy but can be done 🤗😊🥰.

  • @Hugsandblisses I travel a lot as well on short notice with a lot of adapting and changes. My previous post was pure sarcasm because there are a lot of entitled dudes on the site. With that being said I have done last minute sessions—but I will give you a couple of tips on how to do this.

I reach out to a few pros that I think I will gel with before I go on a trip and out of the ones that respond I put them in the order of preference and tell the others who are not my first choice I might not know until the day of. The ones that respond and say ok stay on my list. Others eliminate themselves if it doesn’t work for them—that’s ok too. But if my schedule changes and suddenly I don’t get in until later and the one at the top of the list says that doesn’t work I move to the next. I do not feel guilty doing this because there are so many that flake at the last minute as well. This is not misleading someone, this is being prepared.

But I also add in my message when I reach last minute an apology for requesting them at the last minute and stating I understand if this doesn’t work for them, which goes a long way with most pros.

  • Hello?
I am fairly new to cuddle but I have had a lot of same day requests
At first the request overwhelmed me and I had to take a break from accepting bookings because the entitlement some spoke of and the fact that at the time I was new and it made me feel like did not really know what I was doing or getting myself into.
I did some research, looked at others professional profiles, talked to some of my already scheduled cuddle buddies and learned alot.
A couple months later things run really smoothly most of the time for my bookings and same day requests.
I see that you did put your reason for same day request in your profile. But I would copy and paste the reason you put here as it explains more and it's warmer.
Before I accept any bookings I do go to the persons profile and look at Karma etc. I see you dont have any so being able to read a little more and know the reason why may open people up to be more flexible or accommodating for you as its not a want but a need. And your not entitled but would love to find cuddle buddies that can accommodate you.
Also communication with the person/people you are interested in prior to requesting the same day booking so that they "know" you a little and can expect it from you.
I agree that if someone does not mention accommodating same day bookings on their profile you probably shouldn't waste your time, but it never hurts to ask and build repour.
Building repour really helps. I know some people get upset if you contact them but are not wanting to see them but your situation is a different and communication and building repour may be key.
I'm not 100% sure I just know it has worked for me and the clients I have seen on same day notice. Some even really frustrated me in the beginning and got really frustrated with me. I can laugh at it now cause I got it figured out but yeah the same day requester and their entitlement almost made me run from cuddle.
Now I know how it works for me.

  • My very first session from the site was a same-day booking. My message to her was:

"Hi, I don't know whether you're available for short notice bookings, so I'm asking. My schedule opened up unexpectedly today and it would be very nice if you're available to meet this afternoon. If you need more advance notice for a booking, I understand."

I messaged her at about 9-10am and we met at about 3pm or so. Just be courteous in your messages and make it clear that you're making a request rather than a demand, and you might have good results.

  • I think same day bookings only come off as entitlement when people get surprised or upset you can’t accommodate them. I also get a lot of negative reactions when asking for a deposit for same day bookings. Because of the last minute stress deposits help me be certain they will show up, and not flake, because I have made same day bookings several times, and people flake anyway….which that comes off as entitlement because they just think they can throw out a theoretical proposal, expect accommodation, and not show up anyway? Nope.

  • @LexiLove25 so much great stuff there. Much appreciation for your time and care.

When I created the profile I didn't know exactly how hindering the need for same day would be. In retrospect I agree I could expand a bit there. I just hate the idea of having half my profile be me explaining the rigors of my work schedule. Lol. I guess I can put some of it there and then some thoughtfully in a first correspondence as well.

Thank you again everyone. Impressed with the community

  • @TheFunCartel thank you and appreciate you. Appreciate good sarcasm too. Lol.
I don't know.. it sounds like a lot of work. Maybe it's necessary and ultimately worth it. Cuddling should be easy. Lol

  • I’ve enjoyed reading this thread both the initial question and the multitude of responses from pros and clients and enthusiasts alike. I hadn’t really noticed any entitlement till this last post which took me aback a bit.

In addition to hygiene and commuting, I like to do some vetting of my potential clients through conversations and karma, so the same day cuddle does have its challenges. I think it may become Simpler once one has a few cuddles and karmas under their belt. When I’m traveling it’s easier to accept same day cuddles because I have hosting space and also the rest of real life is on pause. But I’d add my voice to the others who have responded here. Be communicative and considerate of what others must go through to meet your need, and perhaps be willing to pay for that. One idea would be to Book some virtual cuddles with potential pros and /or put down a deposit, and be willing to lose your deposit if you can’t show up. Your deposit pays for their time reserved, time spent getting ready, etc. better yet it preserves the relationship so that next time they will still be willing to consider you.

@Hugsandblisses You say it sounds like a lot of work and should be easy, but your profile says that you’d like an emotionally intelligent and present person to cuddle with. That combo is an amazing strike of lightning when it happens! Just keep in mind that we pro cuddlers are not like the little alien toys in Toy Story waiting to be chosen from the claw machine. Sooooo in conclusion…greater effort and consideration = actual cuddle taking place!

  • Just confirming some of what others have said.

I am pro, and I have had people message me something along the lines of "Hello, nice to meet you! My work occasionally sends me to your area, and you seem great, I'd like to get to know you and if I end up close by hopefully we can book a session!" I have even gotten messages from lovely people who haven't been to Colorado that want to chat and think maybe some day they will travel to Colorado for fun and would want to know me. That's awesome!

And I love that. Obviously same day booking can be tricky just logistically, if you have other things going on. Sometimes I can't accommodate that. But the biggest problem for me with same day is the anxiety of not knowing this person, not having the usual time to vet or clarify expectations and boundaries.

I have also noticed that some of the clients who are not going to behave professionally will do this to kind of pressure me into booking immediately without taking those steps to make sure I'm safe and everything is professional. Certainly not all, but a lot of messages I get for same day bookings will involve asking for a super late session, immediately going sideways when you get off the site to coordinate logistics, or offers that sound like something other than cuddling.

You sound very sincere, and I totally empathize with the real logistical challenge this creates for you. But I would recommend any steps you can take to build rapport, establish some trust and guarantee safety. I don't know if your statement about your travel covering 100 miles means within 100 miles of your home, or traveling 100 a miles a day in any direction, but if it's just a 100 mile radius of your home, then set that on your filters and take some time to chat with pros I that vicinity. Totally understand your statement that it's a lot of work, but it's also a lot of work for pros to do this safely.

You seem thoughtful and considerate and I'm sure you will find some great cuddle buddies!

  • don’t most female cuddlers have a pink version of the Batphone waiting for last minute cuddle emergencies?

    😆

    @TheFunCartel

  • Make friends ahead of time

  • Haha! @TheFunCartel @Katota ! NGL that's actually sounds pretty badass to have one of those! 🤣😜😎

  • @AlyLauren thank you. You make a great point about familiarity. I now recall so many bios that state Same Day will be considered for repeat customers. That unfortunately ends that particular search for me but the bigger picture is that there's a reason why this is stipulated, and it's not lost on me. You did a great job of pointing this out.

@VitaminJ thanks for the feedback. So much of it made perfect sense. I am however surprised though that you would advocate for me taking the advice of creating a favorites list, contacting multiple Pros, setting up tentative appointments with all who respond as backups with the plans of not following through on some of them. Is that considered acceptable behavior by a lot of Pros? Besides it being a lot of work, it doesn’t seem very nice. Is this what Pros expect from clients? Hard to believe

@RedFox16 Lol! 😆 Hell, go for it. 👍
    I'd make a terrible Bat Cuddler anyway.😊🦇♥️

I'm not a Cuddle Pro, but I have been annoyingly approached by many "wanna cuddle today" guys 🙄, that it occasionally turns me into The Hulk version of a cuddler. 😑😊

READ MY PROFILE! KATOTA SMASH! 💚🫂👊😆

  • [Deleted User]AshleyGene (deleted user)

I would try to find a couple people in areas you anticipate landing for a break. That would help the Pros gets to know you. You can send over your photo and explain your situation, and have a few lined up that you know might be able to accommodate you! Good luck! Sending a hug!

  • Same - day new clients are not inherently off putting. It gets sketchy for me when they: only want a late/very late night session, use a questionable amount of wink faces, or get pushy.

I work with a lot of business travelers. Last minute stuff is pretty understandable. Clear open communication as always makes things easy.

  • @Hugsandblisses just to clarify I didn’t advocate for setting up all of the appointments and deposits for the same day and the same place, just that you can use those techniques in advance if visiting a place to develop friendships and karma and and to hold one person’s time in reserve. And just thinking about this way of living, it sounds like a job that doesn’t have a lot of work-life balance, and makes it hard to have any consistency or normalcy, and I can see why you would be wishing for some cuddles and comfort at the end of these long unpredictable days.
