Does it bother you to cuddle with married men?

  • Should be asking that question to the person who you are trying to meet

  • Yes. I absolutely refuse to cuddle married men, and I don't care who gets offended by it.

  • No. Lol. ⭐👋🏻

  • No, tbh (:

  • Yes and no. I'm torn on the subject. I would have no problem if she knew about it but 99% of the time she doesn't. And I'm talking about legitimate platonic cuddles, not those creeps who think this is an easy platform for cheating.

Guess I’ll post too even though it’s from the other side.

    I’ve cuddled people in relationships.

One where I met her wife first then we cuddled. It was fun and they were both great people.

And one where I only found out later. She said he knew and I decided to trust her on it, but it did give me pause.

I decided not to let it be weird. Still working on that. 😎 I think I’m mostly there.

No. I was in a relationship when I did this professionally. It’s a platonic service/experience, I don’t think it should be stigmatized by partners but it is. Thankfully ex was supportive. I wish more people were accepting.

  • I think you will find these forums very divided on this subject. So if you were looking for a general vibe, I don’t think you’ll find one. If that’s your situation then really all you can do is ask each person if they’re ok with it.

  • Oh yea, it does bother me.

  • No, it doesn't bother me.

I hope that if they are married, their spouse is supportive or in the know but I don't ask or pry unless they want to talk about it.

  • Married men off limits for me.... but married females are okie dokie

    )

  • Not at all. I don't care about relationship status. I used to feel some type of way about it early on here, but I talked to a pro who had been around a while and she said she wished she knew about pro cuddling during her loveless marriage.

Cuddling is so healthy. If your spouse is going to tell you that you can't, but won't cuddle you themselves

    Well.

    That's detrimental to your health.

    I haven't had a relationship where I couldn't cuddle with other people since...I don't know. 2012? I wouldn't be in a relationship that had those constraints.

I wouldn't stay in a relationship where I felt I needed to lie. I don't build relationships where people lie to keep each other comfortable.

But I understand being afraid of what happens when you tell the truth.

  • There is a segment of men whose wives can no longer be intimate through a combination of medical issues, phobias and a love language that is anything but physical. You can blame them for marrying into it, but these men still love their wives. They do not want to cheat or leave. However, they also may know they could never share knowledge of even an HR acceptable side hug if a coworker were to give one, simply because their wife is incapable of putting herself in another's shoes. To these men, this site carries a hint of hypocrisy, because platonic does not always mean platonic. So they have to wrestle between guilt for failing to quench their inner screams for affection and judgement for having done so by women who are incapable of placing themselves in another's shoes.

Not at all- as long as we remain drama free it’s not my place to judge.

  • Being married can be really lonely.
I always prefer to know either way.
I'm open about cuddling to my SO.
It's a personal choice but I understand why many in committed relationships may keep cuddling activities (and expenses) private.
I have had potential clients question my relationship status, in such a way "I'm not comfortable having a cuddle provider who cuddles others and has a boyfriend"...huh?

  • I don’t mind as long as they realize this is platonic and not a hookup situation. I have had to remind a couple of clients that this is not that.

@Jules38016 I'm forever reminding clients the nature of Platonic cuddles, married or otherwise! Usually just using one capital P Platonic in an early message drops the hint. Sometimes inquiry messages or plans fade off after that, so I suppose it works.

Depends on the man and if I feel they’re deceiving their partner. I fully believe that inflicting harm in people’s lives (intentionally or not) isn’t ok. Turning a blind eye to this is profits over humanity IMO.

I feel dirty when they say their partner doesn’t know.

  • Absolutely not. Platonic intimacy should not be limited to marriage, especially if someone is married and needing emotional support like a hug we have to do our best to keep the standards and boundaries high and professional. I don’t believe there should be limitation for anyone for any mental physical, geographical or marital status. I welcome respectful kind individuals in need of comfort.

  • @SunshineEmbrace as a married man let me say I appreciate your perspective and I would personally never support deception. I have been married to my love for 38 years. For the past 17 she has been mentally disabled. Besides having the mind of an 8 year old, and not capable of mature engagement (emotionally, mentally, or physically), she also has zero, ZERO, short term memory. She doesn't know because she's doesn't have the ability to know. Yes, I have cuddled with numerous women from this site, and I struggle/wrestle with this topic each and every time. I still haven't figured it out. Perhaps I never will. Being the sole caregiver to a progressively declining individual, to watch your lifelong love vanish before your very eyes, is so very isolating. Does one allow their own sanity to crumble for the sake of being able to say, "I've never felt the embrace of another?" Like I said, I'm still trying to figure that out. Mind, body, and heart are still stake.

The first disturbing thing about this question is that it's about 'men' not 'people'.

The second disturbing thing is that it's being asked at all: married men constitute something like a quarter of the population. To assume or assert that is a heterogenous group is ..... disturbing.

The third disturbing thing is that the question - which comes up frequently on this forum (I'm not having a go at the OP) - is effectively an attempt to amalagmate right, wrong, cuddling and marriage into a club which malicious actors can use to judge or beat others. Or rather, beat men - see the first paragraph above.

The ethos of this site, and the cuddling community in general is that the world would be a better place if everybody who needs a cuddle could have one; and that everybody is entitled to seek a cuddle. The implication of the question - that if you are a married man then it's fine for you to be denied cuddles - is truly horrible.

In the threads on this topic there are numerous stories of married men cuddling. Some are heartbreaking, some joyful, others relatively mundane. Go look for them, they will inspire you.

Sometimes the questioner is a married man who is contemplating cuddling without telling his spouse, and he is seeking advice, perspective or excuses. In other words the real question is, "Is it ok for me, a married man, to cuddle somebody without telling my spouse?" To which the answer is, if you want to do a thing but don't want your spouse to know, why are you still married to them? And there are of course many answers to that question.

But the truth is that this forum isn't the right place to ask, because the real question is not about the cuddling part but the not telling the spouse part. And in a sense there is no point in discussing that anywhere because only the spouse knows the answer: some would be furious, others delighted. And some would just be sad that their husbands had unfulfilled touch needs that they didn't know about.

  • For those that say they absolutely would not cuddle married men, I question your motives and intentions. If YOU view cuddles are platonic, supportive, therapeutic, etc then why does it bother you if the person is married? Unless YOU have intention on making it something other than a platonic session. The rules are set and for anyone who violates those rules you have the right to end the session without a refund and report them - that's clear. So being this is all platonic, I don't get the issue...unless the Provider haa other intentions. This isn't a dating site for people to be concerned about relationship status. Ironically, there are providers on here that are actually married or in committed relationships.

@Iamup24 there have been cases where wives who discovered their husband's secret cuddling have tracked down and been very aggressive towards their cuddle partners. Some professionals have experienced this more than once and are reluctant to experience it again.

Professionals on this site have agreed in principle to cuddle everybody, which obviously includes married men.

There is no right or wrong answer. No matter how empathetic or absolute someone's opinion on it may be. Nobody makes your decisions for you. You either are ok with it or you are not. Or you have a lot of grey areas to consider. But at the end of the day it's your choice and nobody is forcing you to do or not do it. And regardless of what a bunch of random interwebs strangers tell you, you are the one who is responsible for ensuring your communication and boundaries with whoever it is that you are spending time with so ask THEM, not US.

  • No,

I respect that everyone’s needs are different and each individuals session and reasons are going to be on a special case by case basis.

Ex: ( Married Polyamorous, Married Asexual, Married Open- Marriage, married w/ disabled spouse, married but separated, married but spouse is institutionalized etc.)

As a pro, my only concern is the level of care and support I can provide to whomever the session is for. You came out seeking help and understanding so I wouldn’t dare want to refuse anyone to receive mental/emotional support when they’re already at a point of despair or loneliness. I’m simply here to help and the rest we can face and figure out when appropriate/needed.

    ~ Happy Cuddling Everyone 🤗 ~

I used to be more judgy about it, but you never know what someone is going through, or why they can’t leave the relationship. At the end of the day you gotta vet the people you spend time with and see if they have got good intentions.

If they are willing to throw their partner under the bus, what are they willing to do to a stranger on the internet?
