I still need to finish Naruto. I made it to episode 400 of Shippuden and it’s really tough to get through the filler episodes, plus I keep getting pulled in other directions of what to watch. Currently waiting for new seasons of demon slayer and one punch man.
There are websites that guide you as to which eps are filler -- I found that super helpful on my Naruto and Ship watchthroughs.
Also, I cannot recommend Frieren enough. Ditto Windbreaker.

No anime for me, but a couple Korean manhwa caught my attention a few years back. The Gamer and Solo Leveling.
I will probably watch the anime based on Solo just out of curiosity; friend told me it was very good and faithful to the comic.

I was watching One Piece but needed to take a break because there are soooooo many episodes 😅
@CharlieBear I heard reading the manga makes following the series easier, funny enough I have never watched it

Death Parade's really good! Definitely made an impact on me
Anime Ghost Stories US dubbed version was the bestest comedy ever.
The English dub deviates significantly from the original script. While preserving the basic plot structure and storyline, the new script revolved around topical pop-culture references, politically incorrect gags, and fourth wall breaking jokes about the original show's low animation quality, anime clichés, and poor lip-sync.
Still campaigning for a reboot.
There are too many in my digital libraries.

Just rewatched Frieren, waiting impatiently for season 2 of Apothecary Diaries to finish updating so I can binge it all in one go 🤩 Rewatched Dungeon Meshi and Children of the Whales recently as well 🤘🏻

Just out of curiosity, what’s the preference for the anime lovers here: English dubbed, original with subtitles, or you love anime so much you learned the language? 😇
@XBlueX i probably will, glad to hear another endorsement; I really do prefer books over shows, but I could see that line blurred for anime based on comics.
I tend toward original with subtitles, but English dubbed can be fun sometimes (especially if it feels appropriate for the setting)

@XBlueX Yeah One Piece is so daunting. I will finish it though. I love it, but there's just soooooo much filler and exposition. Oh and I also loved the live-action Netflix series!
@lovingspoonfull japanese with subtitles all the way. Some dubs are done really well but in my opinion anime is meant to be watched in Japanese just based on the characters inflections and other nuisances. I feel the same way about shows like Avatar The Last Airbender but in reverse. It’s a show with a lot of inspiration from anime but it was made in the US for an English-speaking audience so watching a Japanese dub of it just seems off.
