How do you all feel about Pro's with no Karma, that have been around for a relatively good amount of time, more than a year? Is it just slow cuddling season or something else. I'd like to get multiple perspectives on this if possible.
Not everyone who signs up is necessarily getting booked.
Some are here but don't have time to commit to making it a full time gig and doing all the screening.
Some people do lots of screening and determine that the people wanting to book them aren't someone they feel comfortable cuddling or are creepy weirdos.
Some are indeed cuddling but the clients don't leave karma (I have known several cuddle pros who ask their clients to not leave karma so it doesn't become like a jealousy thing with other clients)
And last but but least, sometimes shit just be that way yo!
How do you feel about non cuddle pros who have been here a long time with no karma ?
Ty for answering and sharing your perspective. Great question, I would have to steal some of your answers but change it for an enthusiast where they just have not found many people in their area. Also i don't know if pros are obligated to give karma for enthusiasts. The jealousy part makes sense now that u mention it.
Some people don't want Karma. For example, it gives plausible deniability: "Oh yeah, I did sign up for that in a moment of foolishness, but I never actually met anybody."
However the commonest superficial reason is that they haven't had many clients. There are many possible underlying reasons for this, but I suspect one of the more common is hesitation: not foolish hesitation, but the wise kind, as they realise that there is much more to being a professional cuddler than meets the eye. Such people may be poor at replying to messages.
It's absolutely not a red flag in and of itself, but if you are new to being a client it's probably better to seek professionals who have at least a few Karma, if there are any near you.
Nobody is obligated to write Karma under any circumstances. "Trading" Karma - I'll write something nice about you if you write something nice about me - is forbidden and is a fast track to being banned. It is never ok to ask for Karma, as you may be putting a vulnerable person in a difficult position. Before writing nice Karma for somebody, it is polite but not essential to ask if they would like you to (since not everybody wants Karma). If you have something negative to say then arguably you have a moral obligation to inform the rest of the community: however, you must be fair, truthful and - ideally - kind. If the site's terms of service have been broken that is not a matter for Karma, you should Report it.
Speaking as a former pro with low amount of karma:
This isn't the only cuddle website, and there are a lot of other ways to meet cuddle partners outside of the big name cuddle sites. I got most of my former clients by word of mouth and/or by meeting them at events. I did not ever ask them to join this site just to give me a review. I have a few reference letters saved that I had on hand if it ever became an issue - but it never did.
Personally, I think the karma system is heavily flawed and that some people give it way too much credence - especially as a potential safety measure. Just because someone is pleasant and respectful with one partner is absolutely no guarantee that they'll not abuse another. The "best" (worst) abusers absolutely know how to manipulate the perceptions of people around them so that they will not believe victims when they come forward.
If someone wants to give me karma, cool. If not, also cool. What matters more to me is the connections and memories I've made.
I’ve met many without leaving karma. Some times the meet was amazing. Sometimes not. Sometimes discuss leaving and agreed to not. Sometimes this. Sometimes that. Nit a concern for me.
I'm torn on this. I don't necessarily see it as a negative if someone has a zero karma, but I also don't see it as inconsequential. I gauge the feedback as mostly honest so ... flawed or not it's the only system there is.
Are they new? If they're aren't new then I presume they've had ample time and meetings for a few karma to arise? Hmmm all of the guests were shy...
I leave karma in general because it's a decent thing to do. It's not hard to compliment someone.
