Because I wanted to see what they were cooking in their profile photo
A mix of:
I like to look at the "online now" or recent online. I've learned quickly that looking for someone close by isn't an option. There's so many old profiles that haven't been online in years, where I live ... so I like to see who's online and if they are close If their name or profile pic...seems cool or appealing, I'll take it further and go to their profile and read some more. Empty profiles..are an automatic pass.
At this point I’ve reconsidered. Now I think I need a reason not to click on a profile.
I'm 5'8 185 pounds. Cuddling to me doesn't really feel comfortable to people who aren't equal or greater in size. So if someone looks about my size or more I would click.
But the minute i see they are not single i have to block. It makes me uncomfortable.
All of thee above- 👆 Buttt I really like cool nature outdoorsy pics so I always click on those. 🤗
TBH Sometimes I'm just being nosy for one reason or another 😜
Or I'll click on people in my general area who I haven't seen/noticed before since I LOVE meeting new friends 😁😁
I don't know, usually I just look at profiles near me or if I'm out of town for a conference in that same town. If a photo is very unusual or a small town I'm familiar with that most people don't know, I'll click on that. I just messaged someone a few states away because they are from a town I lived near briefly many many years ago, before they were even born
On the front pages where it shows people from all over some of the location names are funny so I'll click to see what country or state it is.
Locally it's not random but there's few people active near me so I'll check out new profiles. I get rather amused when a new profile looks like it's a scam and/or software robot.
Their location was my hometown but they were traveling to my area. Wanted to see i knew them or their family (very small town),
I must confess, most of my clicks are for artificial reasons.
Occasionally I’ll click on a profile if the user made an interesting comment, but then usually I regret it because it makes me look like an interested stalker…?
Or I might visit a user to see who’s visited me (and again sometimes regret it depending on who it is)
I go by recently online folks with cool pictures. Someone close by with an interesting profile is always a bonus.
