Hobby cuddling

Cooking is a hobby of mine, and I recently spent time during an extended cuddle cooking with my cuddle partner. I don’t think that’s a new idea based on some threads I’ve read here.

There was something nice and soothing about the entire experience, where we cuddled or made contact where we could. Plus enjoyed the food. 😎

That was such a successful and enjoyable experience for me, it made me curious about other options. I’ve seen people mention board games, computer games, etc.

Are there other hobbies people have especially enjoyed while cuddling? I’d love to hear your ideas or experiences.

    Jigsaw puzzles.

  • Talk shit

  • You're making me want to go to your area! @pmvines

  • @KuddlyKoala

    My sass runs deep

  • I have to chime in with dance cuddles. 💃🏻

  • co-working

@lovingspoonfull yes!!! I was thinking the same thing after doing an overnight once that a cooking experience would be amazing! Bet it was most enjoyable!

@pmvines for sho!!! And a concert of course 🤣😂

@WriterGF another awesome idea that I'd love to tackle!

  • So I live near Disney World in Florida, and while I haven’t done a cuddle session there yet, there’s a couple pros I see that I was proposing the idea to. As far as other activities, we’ve either watched movies/Netflix or hung out in a historic downtown area and went bar/lounge-hopping and had dinner together.

  • @WriterGF i actually enjoy puzzles, but for some reason they never come to mind when trying to think of something to do. Thanks for the suggestion!

@pmvines talking (shit type included sometimes) is my default state.

@MTex thats a wonderful idea. The only time I did that I was glad her expectations were low for me as I am not a dancer!

@Curvynaps I’m giving that some thought. Have you done it? I have a reservation that in cuddling I’m usually focusing on my partner, not work.

@friendlyj311 it was fun. I recommend.

@disneysamurai I've enjoyed short hikes, sunset watching, and stargazing, those were a lot of fun. One partner showed me an app that does augmented reality stargazing and lets me learn about anything in the sky: stars, planets, satellites, constellations. It’s pretty useful.

I've been working on a 3000 piece puzzle and could use the help :)

  • I like puzzles. I typically only do 1000 piece puzzles, though. I don't have table space for larger puzzles.

  • Did this one in two days when on orcas island last week ☺️☺️ 1000 piece are easy I need a larger one next time lol 😆

@IronLemon After my divorce, I turned the dining room into a library and put a 4' x 4' table in it for puzzles. Probably my favorite room in the house.

  • WOW... This is so interesting and awesome

  • I would love to cook with my potential cuddle buddy…. I think that is a fantastic idea. I had it on my profile for a minute, but since most of the clients I’ve had have been from out of town no takers…
Cuddle and do my taxes comes to mine lol for that time of year… sounds a lot less stressful
Cuddle and put away laundry that would be a dream come true hahaha
Maybe listening to an audible book together and then discussing it… while exchanging massages?
I still wanna try the drive-in cuddle but that would take the proper vehicle to be able to fully experience the movie under the stars…
    What about baking ??
(The majority of these suggestions would have to be with someone that host’s because I do not)

  • @pmvines …. 🤜🏼🤛🏻

  • @BlessedEnergy4U

Soooo much shit to talk about with you one of these days my friend

  • Got the 🍿🍿🍿
    And my fav 👢’s
    Say when ….

  • All of these ideas sound like a ton of fun, but where does it end being cuddling and start becoming a date (or friendship?) I would love to do everything that has been mentioned here, but I cannot compartmentalize to save my soul and I know I would end up turning it into something it wasn't meant to be, one way or the other. 🙁

  • @SquishyJackie

Anytime is a good time to talk shit in my opinion , regardless of context or accompaniment

  • @pmvines well, yeah, but that's my daily life so it's not like an "extra special" activity I want to do with a cuddler. Lol. Actually thinking about it makes me miss my last cuddler. 😆 Can't wait until he gets back from drill.

  • When I saw the title I thought it said Hubby Cuddling and I thought this was one of those married peeps threads 🤣😇

I'd like to have someone squeeze my guts while I read stories aloud. I like to eat, too, but my cooking is horrible. I'd rather build houses!! Just not on Cuddle Time! lol

  • @Homesteader

Squeezing your guts while you're eating may end badly. Just sayin ....

  • I encourage my partners to play blindfolded mumbly-peg as an activity. I have a firm belief that it keeps you present and mindful.

  • @OhioMike so glad to give you something else to think about!

At one point I had thought about creating a thread asking for people to nominate tired and over-discussed topics. Then I thought better of it! 😎

  • @SquishyJackie I think that’s a reasonable concern. I’d certainly advocate you taking whatever steps necessary to keeps things straight and in the right mindset.

For me? Cuddling does sometimes turn into friendship. The connection, the company, those matter as much if not more than the physical action itself.

I don’t guard against friendship at all. I do guard against it becoming a “date”.

  • I was lucky enough to cook with a cuddle buddy. I made lasagna and she made asparagus 👍👌

  • Cooking sounds fun and refreshing ...saves time from driving and in a restaurant. Also helps in maintaining 1 on 1 companionship.. now what to cook! Hmmmm

  • Ooooooooo! @lovingspoonfull Cooking with a cuddle buddy sounds like a great idea and a fun way to further a connection 🤗🤗🤗
