@lin333 I've looked on this discussion a couple of times and it really is just a rambling thread of consciousness. Individual comments and not much related. I'm thinking we'll have to go to the Cuddle Party website directly to get a list of upcoming events. I know not much happens in my neck of the woods but I don't know about yours.
Yeah I get that this thread is rambling etc. The OP I think started this general thread to get peeps involved more and interested in meeting. Keep in mind this thread is several years old and those of us here were trying to figure out how to get back together after that historical 2020 year.
I think I see this thread as a brainstorming or spring board to gain interest in something to happen When an actual event occurs an individual thread specifically for that gathering will be posted. (All the details , who’s RSVP, etc will be listed )
I’m only referencing the meet n greets . Officially cuddle parties are different than those . I just google like “cuddle party Columbus Ohio “and occasionally I click on the meet up site or some similar site . Ohio isn’t a strong cuddle party community) like say … DENVER! (So jealous).
Now meet n greets I think are a blast ! Many of us have attended these and maybe meet for the first time ever ! Just imagine a group of 15 , 20 , 25 , 30 plus CC members getting together to share a common interest !
I’m gonna repeat myself (bad habit ) but I really don’t think organizing a meet n greet is greatly challenging. Just get a place (park , beach , hotel, indoor retail space , think of public places , I’m trying to think of all the different spots that have been done ). And I say this with all sincerity, you will get a ton of help ! Lots of help ! Maybe too much help lol 😆. Shout out to @KozyKim who saved my arse once! ( Thank you Kim so much !) We just need that initial spark from our members.
I’ve been blessed to co host a few of these and if you have questions or need tips to get started me and others are happy to assist.
In the meantime , while it looks like nothing is happening, actually the behind the scenes peeps are organizing future ones and planning the details before they start an individual thread with all the details. So if peeps wanna keep posting various locations , that’s great , but that’s not how it really gets done . Looking forward to seeing you all ! 🤗
@OhioMike great thread. Thanks for the shout out but I don't remember what I did. I remember you being the backbone of everything that's all I remember. But you are right we had a lot of people that brought food and a lot of people that set up and tore down. Fun time's !!
I’m in the Phoenix area so Tucson isn’t too far away.
This thread isn't really a meetup request thing. It's for people to share about meetups that they are potentially working on orchestrating. Nobody is behind the scenes taking requests and making it happen. There is no organized make a wish foundation here. You can't order it like pizza. If you want a big group meetup where you live, try to organize it or work with others on getting it organized.

It seems there hasn't been a meet & greet in the north east for a while. I wonder if anyone would be interested in attending one in this area. There was some talk about having one in the PA/NJ region but nothing came of that. How would you feel about coming to CT for a meet & greet. Our state parks are free - Silver Sands Park would be a good place to host one. What are your thoughts?

@Adragayle It's tempting but might still be a little too far for me. My ability to travel is a bit limited right now.
Is anyone attending Soulplay festival in California next weekend? I'm missing it sadly but I hear of some local cuddlers attending and am wondering if there is a meet up that I can direct them to.

I would love to find a group to socialize with in central Iowa. Human connection is difficult to find. I often give people free massages just to have that connection. I would be all for a public meet and greet. That way it would give people a chance to get to know each other without the one-on-one fear of spending time with a stranger.

Free Summer Solstice Snuggle event Sunday June 22 in Knoxville, Tennessee
I am planning a low-key public gathering on Sunday, June 22 from 4-6 pm at a local park in West Knoxville, Tennessee for those interested in platonic snuggles. It is open to members of this site as well as to the public. I do wish to know how many will attend and try to gender balance the event so I will ask people to message me for more specific details and so I can get a count. Anyone may ask questions here as well. I’d love to plan another event with more notice at a later time but for now a small gathering is what I can manage on my own.

I just moved from NY to MD (Eastern Shore) and am starting to plan cuddle get togethers (non-sanctioned) and will plan a meetup for this summer or early fall. I'm about 1 hour east of Baltimore, and will have events on both side of the Bay Bridge (which connects via Annapolis). @jamcnblood68

I’d am planning a meet & greet in Knoxville, TN for August 9-10, to include a gathering at a local park and / or an outing on a double decker pontoon boat. I would love to see posts here to gauge interest and receive messages from anyone who would like to attend, and /or help with planning and execution.
I held a mini-snuggle at this park earlier this month and it will be an excellent venue for a larger gathering with cookout space, tables, volleyball, lakefront, paddle board / kayak rentals, and I will bring a few tents.
