I was offered a (temp) job.

The same staffing agency that I was with my last role was able to offer me this job. The project is expected to last 3 months. I'll be researching legal documents and determine of the citations are from independent authors of law firms and key it in an Excel spreadsheet. It's entirely work from home using my own computer for $20 an hour. After training, my schedule will be extremely flexible. I can work whenever I want and the only requirement is that I put in 40 hours per week.

  • Sounds like a great short term opportunity! You got this!

  • That's amazing!!! I'm very happy for you :)

I could use a job like that! I am blessed enough to be able to work from home, but I only make like ~14.50 an hour. I make car service appointments for dealerships acrtoss the country.

I'm on track for completing the project way sooner... like within a couple weeks. My touchtyping skills are really good and I learned all the keyboard shortcuts needed to get around Excel easier. It kind of sucks paywise because they are paying by the hour but I don't feel comfortable with artificially slowing down. I spellcheck everything(checking flagged words against the original document before changing it) and do light proofreading focusing on numbers and things the spellcheck wouldn't catch.

  • That sounds fantastic good job man
