So this passed Tuesday (6/3) we saw Metallica for the first time in concert in Atlanta and I was blown away. 😁😆

They were awesome, even with their adorable old man bellies and all fabulous gray on top on their heads. James was still belting out lyrics to King Nothing, Sad But True and Enter The Sandman like it was nothing. Wonderful show indeed! ❤️👍

Lars was Lars a banging away on his drums, with his tongue out. 😛

Lol. Don't ask me why he does that, go ask Lars...

"WHY THE TONGUE, LARS?"
"Is The Tongue suppose to a be Metal, Lars?"

Ya know what Lars, it's YOUR TONGUE...Stick it out!

All in all it was a wonderful night of hanging out, cuddling and somewhat headbanging. 🤘😁❤️🫂







@pmvines No worries about the "parking disaster aftermath", but we will NOT be attending Mercedes Benz Stadium ever again. Nope. 😔

    The parking is terrible there! My hosting place is super close to Mercedes-Benz stadium, but you'd still need to be dropped off/Uber (not walking distance). If you guys ever need a place to park and I'm around I'll hook you up! @pmvines @Katota Glad you had a good time otherwise!

    Old man bellies? If what they have are considered "old man bellies" wtf do I have lol.

    Took my son to see them in LA a couple of years ago, amazing performance. First time I saw them was around 96

    @CuddleBug02u Yeah, the parking aftermath wasn't great at all and the walking downward spiral exit wasn't a pleasant experience for oldies with knee and back issues like were having .😆
    Likely won't be going back due to that, thanks for your offer though. 😁👍

    For years, the closest that I got to see a Metallica concert was my DVD copy of Through The Never, which I still kick myself for never catching it at the theaters 10 yrs ago. 🤦😊

    My back was completely jacked up and I got us lost when going to find the car at the end of the hot loud and sweaty night. Definitely felt like old man metal 😂
