People giving addresses then flaking

I’m so fucking tired of this. Has this happened to anyone?

Agreeing to meet someone, driving to their place, only for them to suddenly not answer the doorbell nor their phone?

I’d like the websites to ban these POS’s permanently. One person I even gave money to before showing up at their house, only to get flaked on.

I really really hate people like this

Sadly it's happened to many, though not to ME as I am an Enthusiast not a Pro. 😊

And I don't pay for cuddling either, again so sorry for your experience.😁

    Be careful out there! 👍

@DrowJ1998 Are you reporting them to the site? Did you book through the site so they have evidence of the appointment?

Yeah should report with ss of the payment

This has happened to me several times. Only once on here, indirectly. I gave a cuddler my address prior to a session and then she backed out of the session and ghosted me. Thankfully I hadn’t paid her up front. I suspect she was trying to scam me out of sending advance payment and that’s why she flaked out. (She also insisted we book over text and not on here, which was another red flag)

On at least two other occasions on other platforms, I set up a platonic cuddle session with someone, they said they wanted my address to come over and as soon as I gave it, they ghosted me.

It always scared the heck out of me, because now they have my address. Are they stalking me? Are they going to show up when I’m not there? Etc. It’s like, why ask for the address if you’re not planning on coming, unless you’re up to something fishy?

Yikes, super sketch. This is (one of many reasons) why I would never host unless I already knew the person well. But regardless, it's always best practice to meet in a neutral public location prior to going to the cuddle spot, for a first-time cuddle. Many Pro's require this, or a video call, if they are on the up and up, for their own protection. But clients need security, just as much.

  • That really stinks. I'd never give out my address and ghost. Smh. I hope you reported! That's the only way we can keep those folks from doing it again

  • I wouldn't be surprised if this is a common occurrence. From my experience on here all the ladies I've messaged only one has been very responsive and straight to point. Had one girl who messaged me for one week hours in between or days and the day we were going to meet she blocked me.

Wow, calm down. People are allowed to get cold feet.

  • This sounds so frustrating! It’s never happen to me like that but their has been times I was hosting and gave my address and they never showed up to our session. And then I was anxious all night into the following week about a stranger having my address. Creeped me out.

@tacpmurg Not at all unusual. I have talked to a few enthusiasts who said they just joined to see what it was about and who was in their area but have no intention of ever cuddling with anyone. There are plenty of people on dating sites like that too. Window shoppers, basically.

  • @WriterGF which is fine, people have free choice. It couldve been for a myriad of reasons.

He could have come off as creepy at the door.. they may have had IBS that day.. maybe they just decided cuddling wasnt for them.

The point is , flipping out about it to this degree of lack of emotion control is downright weird to me.

  • I mean I know it’s frustrating but they could have had an emergency where they weren’t able to get to their phone and had to rush to the hospital or something. They should be communicating that to you as soon as they can though. And who was it that flaked? Was it an enthusiast or pro? Did they have a decent amount of karma? It’s best to screen for someone that based on their profile and their reviews that they will more likely than not show up and you’ll have a great connection with. It’s not 100% failsafe but the chances of flaking and ghosting are way less with pros that have a decent amount of positive reviews than with especially an enthusiast with no reviews. I mean it’s the same thing with finding a dog sitter. It’s always best to choose someone who has a ton of positive reviews because they’re more likely to be trusted and there is absolutely nothing worse than relying on a sitter only for them to flake and ghost and now your poor pups are left alone for days on end without anyone to feed or walk them!

@WriterGF Very true, another reason that I no longer bother with dating sites anymore.😔

  • I’d take some personal accountability, and stop paying people before you meet them. The TOS are here to help you out. As a pro - we are also flaked on in equal numbers. This is the cost of doing business.
