Any gay men or transwomen looking to cuddle a straight woman? Some of my best friends are gay and trans. I think that would help keep things platonic and cozy.
I'm a trans woman. But I should also point out that someone being transgender doesn't necessary mean that they're straight.
Every single trans woman i know (a lot) are either bi or lesbian, so platonic isn't guaranteed
You can't keep things "platonic and cozy" with someone who isn't a gay man or a trans woman?
@snugbuddy It’s just easier when you’re not each other’s sexual preference. I don’t feel comfortable cuddling lesbian women because in my lifetime many, many lesbian friends have had feelings for me that I don’t reciprocate and they have gotten angry and hurt I didn’t.
@IronLemon @MiriFagen I realize that. It’s just worked for me in the past that we could have a great deal of love and affection without sexual attraction.
[Edited. Non-platonic profile and post. The ick was strong in this one. -Sid]
I have absolutely NO PROBLEM cuddling ANYMONE regardless of gender on down the line
@Amalie I would be honored to cuddle with you
@MiriFagen Oh good, it's not just me.
From what I've seen, trans communities also include a variety of sexualities, including ace (asexual). So we tend to be familiar with queer platonic relationships. Maybe that's the difference.
Just beware that there is a whole category of dudes that pretend to be gay so women let their guard down around them. Heard this from way too many women for it to be an isolated thing.
@wilderdude , interesting. I bet I've dated a few of those not-gay guys, married and single. For the record, so not worth it on my part.
It's the supposedly straight guys that make me worry about my gay bros who might not be proficient with self defense, but overall it's still women who have to be on the constant lookout for creepy clueless dudes.
Pro wingman tip for the straight guys: look women in the eye, not at their breasts, when you're talking with them. "Eyes up here, fool." [Self edited, because wow was I cranky when I wrote this. ]
👍👍👍👍
@wilderdude Yeah, I have definitely heard of sad experiences about that nonsense. 😌
Like men pretending to be women online for the same reasons. Smh 😒🙄
Hence, why I will continue to hold out for a Werewolf...🥰🐺
Lol! 😆
If a man can't morph into a Werewolf (in front of me) then my guard will remain WAY UP! 🐺👍
That's right MEN, you can't fake Werewolf-ing! HA! 😆
@Amalie Just a head's up, some trans people are wary of those looking specifically for trans, because they have been fetishized in the past.

I ran into one of these guys, many years ago. "Just kiss me - it doesn't mean anything because I'm gay!" 🙄🙄🙄
