What am I irked about lately? Hmmm....
I was supposed to get $80 from someone but they are stalling and will now take longer. And like I'd like it for an upcoming trip.
My roommate has the better key to our place and the reason it is better is because for some reason though exact same key as mine hers opens all 4 locks on our door and mine only opens 3. So for me she made sure to keep the 4th lock unlocked. But she is gone for a month and has a relative stop by here and there unannounced to water her plants and do other things for her. And that person always locks the 4th lock even when I put a note in caps by the door not to lock it! So it has been a fun time trying not to get locked out.
Irked also because trying to plan my birthday trip out of town for a day or two and hoping that if I return very late while very tired ....that I wont be locked out due to the top long paragraph.
Irked because I just picked up a small dark dead bug (and I am terrified of bugs) by accident when I thought it was something else. At least it was dead I guess but when I realized it flew out of my hand as I screamed and jumped around in terror lol. (Flew cuz I threw the dead it not that the dead thing moved). But now wondering what happened to the small black pin that was supposed to be there that I need.
That is it for now. Surely more will follow though.
Sooo many irks so little time
Things keep happening that wake me up in the middle of getting sleep. Smoke alarms going off .... Squawking child... Barking dog.. my eyes hurt I'm so tired
When the smoke alarm went off just as I was settling in for a nap I cried WAHHHH WAHH like a giant baby and wondered why I am being punished so.
Scared of the reports I'll see in the morning. If it helps I think you have a right to speak to a manager at the location you were at. Also, sorry if it actually happened. - Stormy

@homesteader I think I was being too worried. FunCartel said something along the lines of speaking to the manager for you and being prepared to be in that location. If I remember correctly.

I'm irked by what seemed to be a Memorial Day sale on fake profiles on LinkedIn. They're springing up like weeds. Handy tip: never respond to a "recruiter" whose profile just went up a week ago and has zero connections.
I’m irked by people who speed in parking lots, especially when they decide to squeeze through when they see someone backing up.
I'm irked when members don't take the time to write anything about themselves in their about me section and proceed to misrepresent themselves in the profile questions and when you fact check them they spill their guts and try to minimize the truthfulness of their initial responses with "oh I used the default by accident" or " I really don't have a physical relationship so it's like I'm single, but we're still together". Shady can't overlook dishonesty people.
@TenderEmbraces I just want you to know I hear you. Nothing like wasting time with dishonest people.
I'm irked when I have to deal with rude, disrespectful, name-calling cuddlers who are probably here for something else (dating?) and I can't even have the satisfaction of reporting them because there's no rule against being a prick.
It REALLY bothers me because I tend to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, even when I don't think I should.
Photo because I'm petty and it makes me feel good. For clarification there were 4 messages exchanged prior to this conversation. Gentleman (and I use that term loosely) gave me his number and then immediately deleted/deactivated his account.
I'm irked when I have a message conversation with a pro and proceed to set up a session, then they suddenly stop responding without explanation, and I can see they're online. One even set up a Facetime with me and ghosted before it, and now doesn't respond. I understand that not every client is right for every pro, but when the conversation has already begun, it's at least polite and good business to communicate with the client that this is not a good fit.
It's been a challenge to set my first professional cuddling session. I am slightly irked by ghosting after communication has begun. No one owes anyone a response, but in a professional situation, there should be professional courtesy, IMO.
@Amortentia Call a locksmith/Change the locks and leave a note taped on the door in ALL CAPS and a smiley 😊.. Let your roommate’s relative know they can come back at a time that is convenient for Both of you and you will be happy to give them a key 🔑 .. Your roommate should have made a copy of her key a long time ago 😃 You should not have to worry/stress over being locked out of your own home 🏡 I’m sure they will not overlook the Note this time 😊 One less thing to worry about 🤗
@SquishyJackie I irk with you! I assumed there were all adults on this site. Yes I've run into quite a few start out trying very diligently to gain my trust to meet and I guess the vetting process is too difficult 😂 they delete their account or get banned (lucky me) .My gut feeling is 90% on the $$
I am.irked. when my clients kids come over with fake care and bad advice. With minimal knowledge of their loved ones care.... take the pics. And leave if your just gonna be awkward and unhelpful. And make your visit stressful on ya poor loved ones 🙃
@SquishyJackie - This right here is why ghosting is preferable to saying you're not interested. As for deleting his account, you get 30 days to change your mind before the deletion becomes permanent.
@Mike403 thanks. I hadn't realized there was a 30 day delay and that explains a few different profiles I've seen.
My roommate, a great guy and hard worker just got fired. Been friends with this dude for years now and this just ain't right. 😤
I want to tell whoever made that decision a thing or two, but I don't want to risk my own job...

@TheFunCartel Just him. He and I work at the same place and carpool, well I guess used to carpool now. Seems a really bone headed move as we're understaffed as it is, and it takes months to get new hires up to speed.

@TheFunCartel it's still super recent, I'm gonna talk to my team lead and see if he has any insight. As we packed up my roommates stuff, team lead had a kind of empty, defeated look on his face, so I don't think it's his fault. Probably upper management. I'm not asking my roommate just yet, I'm going to give it a day or two
