This is totally random, but when I start chatting with people, or if someone views my profile multiple times I try to check out their friends or karma and look at the people that left the karma.

I just did this with a potential cuddler and one of the users that had left karma on their profile has me blocked. Mind you, I've never interacted with them or even seen their name for that matter.has this happened to anyone else?
So confused as to why I would get blocked for no reason 🤔

    Some pros go through and block other pros that are in their area.
    Some pros/enthusiasts block people they don't want to cuddle, didn't like a forum post, heard rumors about someone, etc. And then some block for no apparent reason.

    I've also been blocked by someone that I have never looked or interacted with but I've seen their karma on people in my area before so I know they are local-ish. 🤷‍♀️

    @Junenye I agree it is confusing and yes it happens I think to everyone on here at sometime.
    There are days where I’m clicking on profiles and several in a row have blocked me even though I have no contact with them.
    I’ve always said I have to be one of the most blocked members here . Maybe it’s the so many degrees of separation thing that gets me blocked Like “oh you’re friends with this person I’ve blocked so I’m gonna block you too “. Idk just a thought.
    Best thing I think is make even more friends and connections here and continue to have a blast here ! 😊

    Some pros will also block other pros in their area because they don't want them copying profile text, or soliciting their past clients based on karma they've received.

    I blocked a few people when I first got here, nothing personal, mostly because of their values, I didn't want to interact with them.

    Even though CC makes it possible to filter for Pros or enthusiasts, there is no way to filter or eliminate Pros or enthusiasts from your Visitors List (This is not a criticism because I have no idea what it costs to program such a thing in or why they may not want to.) So the only way to filter that yourself is by blocking. That is one reason why someone may block you for no apparent reason. I do it all the time to keep enthusiasts visible in my Visitor's list.

    Blocking can be so random. I read a post the other day, then clicked on the person (as I often do) only to find I was blocked. 🤷‍♂️

    Just laughed. I don’t remember clicking on his profile but somehow I triggered something. Maybe a post he didn’t like?

    Maybe I’ll go over to the other thread and suggest a website improvement to see a list of people who have blocked me. then after I review it and my feelings get unhurt I can shrug, chuckle, and move on. 😇

    I can't think of too many things that are as personal as someone's values.

    If someone is putting their values out on the forums then it’s not that personal.

    @lovingspoonfull I talked to a guy on here once (briefly, before he blocked me) who told me he blocks the profiles of every guy he runs across here. Says he doesn't want them being able to see his profile, since he's only interested in women. Takes all kinds.

    I had a pro reach out to me, unsolicited, asking me if I wanted a session. When I politely declined, they asked why not, and before I could answer, they blocked me lol

    Some people are just sensitive.

    @WriterGF this guy may have been a similar type.

    His post seemed very focused.

    In my more whimsical moments I’m tempted to go on a profile clicking spree just to see what it results in. Then keep a tally. New friends? New cuddles? New blocks?

    Ive been blocked for reasons untold. It happens. A lot of things happen on this site that don't make much sense. Just the nature of the beast.

    @Immersedwarmth i know the different uses of the word personal but it is not that personal. Your values are on display in acts of kindness, what you say, and how you react to things. While one many choose to alter these sets of values depending on the person they are interacting with, values are not nearly as personal as say how you feel about your child, your intimate memories with others, or even your social security number. I have friends here who I share opinions, my values and stories from my personal life In DMs, but I do not share the intimate aspects of my life. I think as you get to know someone online values pop up pretty quick. A value is just an idea you have if you do not say something when the value is devalued, challenged or ridiculed. But that is my opinion. You can have your opinion, I just think a value isn’t a value if you hide it so I don’t think it is that personal. I am proud of my values and I love having it reflected back to me in my grown children.

    I've started blocking people who ghost me. 👻 It's easier for me to weed out the people who aren't serious about a cuddle with me. And I can delete the dead conversation & clear up my messages.
