Pro won't communicate onsite, wants my cell

edited June 2025 in General

Not trying to get band, so I will not mention her screen name.

Is this normal or legit:

Scheduled a session.

She sent a cell number for communication, would not chat on CC after sharing her cell.

Not many texts but did share host address of hotel.

I asked why not put host address in CC and she said that is private info not for a public forum. What?

This morning the cell # I shared with her was add to a number of WhatsApp chats.

I texted her about me being added to WhatsApp, and not understanding why she didn't want to post her host address in CC.

I made my mind up to cancel session but she beat me to it. She also sent a post to CC saying:
"I feel unsafe this person has no regard of a women’s safety in sharing information on a public platform, I find it concerning and alarming."

She either blocked me or delete her account. I cannot get to her page and using the email links from CC notifying me she left a message pull up adorable kitten and puppy images saying we cannot find that page.

Is this normal?

Did I make a mistake and if so what was it.

Let me know please.

She has a lot of karma so I suspect I will get band soon.

Comments

  • Maybe the issue is the CC private chat is not secure. Is that it? If so, her comment makes sense. That would be like posting an address here where anyone can see it.

I thought since she shared her cell in our chat, she'd share her host location too. Of course knowing a person's cell has limited risk of physical harm, but knowing the host location does.

Someone help me understand the what and the why of these events.

    Thanks.

Pro's are allowed to exchange contact info once a booking has been made on-site.

Adding your number to group chats is totally inappropriate and an abuse of your private info.

There's no reason she couldn't PM you the address of the hotel. PM's are not public - the only people who can access them are the mods, if the user is reported. Sounds like she wants to hide her address from the mods.

If she blocked you, when you click her profile it would have some text at the top saying you were blocked, but you could still leave Karma and access your PM's with her. (Even if she deleted her account, you can access the PM's from your inbox/sent box.)

Her having lots of Karma shouldn't affect anything. If she reports you for no good reason, without any proof, the mods would disregard it.

You sound sincere, I wish you the best!

Report her. Nothing to think about. Just as well she cancelled the session, you'd be daft to go through with it.

You are quite right not to mention the name in the forum, that's not allowed. Also it's rude.

If she waited till after the Booking was formally confirmed then technically she may not have broken the terms of service. However, she has both driven a coach and horses through them, and demonstrated not merely a lack of care for her client but is actively dismissive.

Amount of Karma is not directly relevant to Moderating decisions: I have seen several professionals with over 100 five-star Karma be banned. Moderators can only see Members' messages to each other after a Report has occurred.

Refusing to communicate on the site is usually indicative of non-platonic behaviour or worse. In this case it sounds as if it could be some level of paranoia, in which case she should not be working as a cuddle professional because it puts vulnerable clients at risk. (And some clients are very vulnerable.) Cuddle Comfort is as safe as any normal website (notice the https in the address) and if you don't trust the place, you shouldn't be here at all.

Edit: don't ever try to understand the apparently incomprehensible behaviour of a stranger on the internet. It ain't gonna work out. For a start, unless it is perfectly clear to an independent third party that you did something wrong (not applicable in this case), it's almost never anything to do with you.
