Cuddle karma?

How often do people leave it? I'm not seeing it much.

  • About 1 in 4 professionals and 1 in 50 non-professionals have some karma (just looking at people online in the 9 months before June 2018), but that's a bit biased because it includes people who have recently joined and haven't had a chance to get any karma yet, and people who aren't really active.

Most karma is between a professional and a non-professional (about 90%), but enthusiasts do leave karma for each other sometimes too.

I think it's a pretty useful thing. I really like reading some of the comments people leave.

  • If you are looking to get karma, definitely ask after a cuddle session! I tend to do it more often when someone asks me if I can leave them karma or if they leave me karma, and I return the favor! Some folks depend on it to consider cuddling with someone. Sometimes, with no-shows, karma will be left almost right away.

  • I have had some people leave me karma however I don't really ask for it. There are prob more people who haven't than who have, I would need to check my profile page to see but haven't done that in ages lol so I cant really tell ya whats on there at the moment.

  • Personally, after a session I text or message me my client person or message then saying we had a terrific session… Etc. which due to my screening process, I haven’t had one bad experience.
I leave positive karma on their page and I tell them that in the message and ask them that I hope they do the same in return.
That seems to work well I think I’m up to nine or 10+ people. But there are also some people I cuddled a while back that I never asked for Karma as I wasn’t fully aware to the benefits of having it. I have been going back & I’ve left all of my clients positive Karma & asking them to do the same if they enjoyed the session.

  • I had the same experience.. when I first started cuddling I did not see the benefit of the karma until a cuddler told me their reasons and I could see now the appeal to it. From my perspective, karma doesn't sway my decision to cuddle with someone... as a pro, I'm open to meeting folks regardless of how much karma they have as long as they follow the guidelines from the site.

I only leave it on the good ones.
My karma has gotten me extra attention. I know I already get it from being a girl on social media, but since getting the karma? Definitely more.

  • Always important to be honest on your reviews so to ensure that others know for their best interests!

  • The whole Karma thing has me thinking of the Buyer/Seller reviews on eBay. How many times after completing a purchase did I get a note from the seller saying some to the effect of, Hey, if you leave me some positive seller feedback, I'll leave you some positive buyer feedback? If it is kind of a quid pro quo arrangement, then where is the meaning?

  • @mickcuddle you are correct! That is why there are folks on here who might have a not so great real life relationship with the pros here but continue to have good karma . I know of one in particular for example who sees pros all the time , is viewed as not always being such a swell fella , yet has good karma (or will delete or deactivate account to avoid getting bad karma ) but it goes to show also how much bad karma can be a detriment to the pros on here cus there is the fear that they will be given bad karma in return, have rumors started about them , etc if they don't give good karma . Also speaks to why so many things go unreported .

@pmvines I guess one value might be in just knowing who has cuddled with someone you would consider approaching. If you and I had a positive conversational friendship here, and you saw that MaryellenSunshine87 and I had left Karma for each other, you might pm me for the true scoop before pursuing a cuddle session with her. Maybe. (My reference to MaryEllenSunshine87 is based in my belief that there is no such person real or imagined)

  • @pmvines So, it’s just like the rest of the real world; buyer beware and don’t believe everything you read.

@mickcuddle Exactly lol. And I don't blame them for feeling a bit in a rock and a hard place re the karma thing because for the pros, a negative review can really impact their business so to say anything less than that the person is awesome, or to report them, can and has in some cases led to retaliation in sense of really negative reviews, attacks on the forums, and harassment through either electronic means or in real life, particularly if the person knows their address, full name, etc. I know of several cases where the person has been afraid to leave negative karma, and a couple of people i know of who were sexually assaulted and didnt report them to the site or the police because the person knew where they lived. so it def does happen.

@KBftm I suppose people have and do contact folks to ask about people they have cuddles with. I have had a couple of people ask me about people on here simply because they say we are listed as friends, and have seen us converse on the forums. In those cases I don't share info simply because I feel it is invasive, and I have no way of knowing the intent of the person asking unless I already know and trust them.

How do I get started? When you sign up, how do clients book sessions with you

@NYKnickfan24 i hate to break it to you but there is not much success for male pros on here , especially if you are only open to cuddling women. That being said , you did only just join so it may take time to acquire interest. Basically the way it works is that you wait for someone to contact you for an appointment. Wish you luck

  • I had my first cuddle session recently and the guy was a very good cuddler and respectful, so I left him karma and a comment. (5 stars) I know there are a lot fewer women than men and maybe it will help another woman feel comfortable.

@KBftm You really had MaryellenSunshine85 & 86 going there for a bit. I'm sure they're glad you clarified. grin

I think leaving Karma is a good thing. If I see someone who has positive karma, especially multiple comments, I feel more comfortable reaching out to them. I've reached out to too many people and gotten back requests for money, from non-pros, and it's causing me to not reach out as much. I just don't like the feeling I have after getting a response that seems out of place. I have left Karma and I hope it helps someone who is also considering that person feel more comfortable in reaching out to them.

  • I think karma is extremely valuable although an imperfect system.

  • The cuddlers I have seen on CC (oh wait, I just thought of an exception) have deservedly received perfectly believable multiple 5 star reviews.

Regarding the one who does not deserve a positive review, I can’t even let it be known that I saw her, so no public “Karma” from me.

  • I love getting rated on the service, it makes my spirit soar and just further pushes me to keep on keepin' on. My website has a little review section, and I think that's been successful due to having quality clients who want to give feedback. One client on there is a good friend from CU, and the other three are new clients from Craigslist/kijiji.

I do pray I'll get karma here one day though.

Calgary is not a busy city at all on CC, and it is skeptical on the whole... Most people abandon their accounts. So it's not only extremely rare to have an appointment actually materialise, but those that have just never left me karma when I asked. Even if I offer discounts for it, they are usually logged off their CC accounts and rarely if ever log back in again after having seen me.

Usually that tells me the session isn't what they had in mind, so they don't feel comfortable commenting on it, or don't care to because they won't want another session anyway. Or they could just be very busy. Who knows.
