@HappyCuddleHugs Thank you 🫶🏼

@MTex Sending cuddle rays your way.
@gem7 thank you❣️ I will be okay. It's just one of those situations you have to process and cry it out. I appreciate you all. 🫂
Yes and it’s eating me away from the inside
A couple days ago I wasn’t feeling well. I was having some anxiety. Not sure why. But I rested and relaxed and I felt better the next day. Stayed hydrated and ate clean
It's been like this for a few months. World events certainly aren't helping, because I'm so mired in my own trauma and struggles. But every time I come up for air, it's like oh yeah all of that is still going on.
For me it seems like the entire support system I've built up over the past few years is just crumbling. Good friends are moving out of town, other friends are having just as hard of a time so are unavailable for support. Even finding time and syncing up schedules for cuddles is proving to be harder and harder.
I feel so broken because I've never been able to manage my depression and anxiety by myself. I always need another person there to share their warmth their empathy and their energy to get me through. Now that those few Avenues I had seem to be closing, I just feel so lost and adrift. Alone in a vast ocean. I wouldn't even know which way to start paddling even if I had the strength or desire to do so.😔
yes its been a rough year
I've been overwhelmed, anxious, and depressed lately. This thread is helping to remind me that I'm not alone. Thanks for showing the vulnerability to put this out there, helping those of us in the same boat feel a little more seen.
Going through caretaker burnout right now on top of packing. I’ve had a lot of requests for bookings lately but I’ve been mentally burnt out with everything else going on outside of CC. I love my clients and the cuddles but mentally I haven’t been able to do anything past virtual sessions at the moment.
Always
A friend and colleague just shared that he is in stage 3 kidney failure, with a cancerous mass now detected on another concerning organ. Many tests and diagnoses still to come.
He is one of the most optimistic and caring people I know, having treated every day as a gift since beating cancer once before.
All of our lights will eventually go out; his will definitely leave the world poorer.
So yeah, today and the next several weeks will be rough.
Been struggling for awhile now, in all aspects that I’m trying to improve. I think I just need to dive deeper within myself & know when to say, “that’s just not for me” & lay it to rest.
I feel like we're living in the end times. But I felt like that off and on since I was a wee one seeing footage of the Amazonian rainforest slashed and burned.
I am with my family on vacation in FL. My mom has been taken care of my dogs; one had to be put down today due to sudden back issues. We had to say oir goodbyes over the phone ...
@GuyverGordon I'm so sorry, that's awful! 💔
I've never been 100 percent. I kinda sit at a resting 7.7. Sometimes more. Sometimes less.
@MTex 🫂
Hughes, much love and good vibes
Yes. Definitely.
I feel like a lot of people are only working to be able to afford to continue working. Some who are earning a little more money are doing so by giving away literally all of their time (seven 10-hour shifts per week), or by risking their lives (I've known two roofers who have died on the job).
@hugsnotbugs98 You are not alone in your thinking. Very few people at the top of the dung heap have any empathy for those below it and I think this realization is causing a tidal wave of hopelessness.
@MTex 🫂 and the same goes to the rest of you I missed. Keep each other in your thoughts, prayers and positive energy... Even if you can't be present sometimes it's just really important to know someone cares.
@ladybug7 Thank you❣️Yes, it seems like almost everyone is going through something difficult these days. It's beautiful when we can support each other. 🫶🏼
Every day is a struggle. 😔
Yes.
@TheFunCartel you nailed it, especially the hopelessness part.
It sounds like you're going through a tough time, and I want you to know that it's okay to not be okay. Life can throw some incredibly difficult challenges our way, and sometimes it feels like we're just treading water, or even sinking. If you're struggling right now, please know that you're not alone in feeling that way. Many, many people experience periods of immense difficulty, and it's a testament to your strength that you're still navigating through it.
Remember that even the darkest clouds eventually break, and light always finds its way through. This period of struggle, as overwhelming as it might feel, is not permanent. You possess an incredible inner resilience, even if it feels hidden away right now. Take things one moment, one hour, one day at a time. Be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to feel what you're feeling without judgment.
Reach out if you can. Whether it's a friend, family member, a mental health professional, or even a support group, sharing your burden can make it feel a little lighter. And if reaching out feels too hard right now, that's okay too. Just focus on taking small steps forward, whatever those steps look like for you.
You are stronger than you think, and there is hope. Things can and will get better. Hold on to that belief, even if it's just a tiny flicker. You deserve peace, happiness, and a sense of well-being, and you will find your way back to them.
I don't know how many people are up for it, or maybe you guys do it already but I'm putting myself out there... In box me to chat if you are struggling. IF I'm able, I will try to struggle with you. (I can't fix anything) I'm not always on top of things but I did want to try at least. Hollar
