A question for female cuddlers only

I don't know how often you get asked this question, but I will ask anyway.

Have you ever had any clients whom you've cuddle with ask during their session, "May I listen to your heart?" or "Would you like to listen to my heart?" If so, how often and what specific time of the session?

I ask this because as a sex-averse, touch-favorable asexual male, I believe that listening to one's heartbeat is not only the ultimate in achieving intimacy, but also a perfect alternative to any sexual activity I'll ever engage in my life. Just so you know, I always ask before I engage cuddle-wise.

  • Sounds like you are asking if it is ok to ask this of your cuddle partner and I would say go for it! I would wait for some connection and ease to be established before asking, but otherwise seems like a lovely way to connect.

  • Listen to your heart
    When he's calling for you.
    Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do.
    I don't know where you're going
    And I don't know why,
    But listen to your heart
    Before you tell him goodbye.

  • I have no problem with someone asking that and would be fine with it as long as they have are being respectful.

  • @Rocket_Man 🤣 great reference!
@DaSuTro that's awesome! I've never had anyone ask, but I'd love that! So when you do come visit family and we get the chance to cuddle, please don't hesitate to ask 😉

I am not sure if someone has specifically asked to listen to my heart, but it naturally occurs when either of us rests our head on the others' chest, like this...

The half-spoon is my absolute favorite cuddle position...it makes me feel so safe to be held that way, and I absolutely adore holding other people that way.

Hearing each others' heartbeats is a lovely aspect of it. 😌

I would not mind being asked to have my heart listened to, or at what time during the cuddle it happened.

What's important to me is that the vibe feels platonic, peaceful, and comforting...not flirtatious or sexual, or I would decline someone being around that area of my chest.

If I'm laying on another girl's chest, I prefer she have a top that covers her cleavage. It's less sweaty, and helps me feel more at ease.

  • I think it’s ok. I think hearing a beating heart is almost similar to hearing a cat pur. It’s soothing to many.

  • I haven’t - but would be more than happy to accommodate. A beating heart is a beautiful thing.

Thank you for opening up and being so mindful/informative while asking your question. It was very considerate, well worded and intentional!

I have only been asked this question twice in my time as a cuddler at C.C. The first time I was asked to have my heart listened to made sense/was expected to some degree of empathy for needing advanced support due to losing a code female family member. I didn’t expect wanting to hear my heartbeat necessarily but I knew to be open minded and considerate of his recent loss. He asked to do so fairly early on the session by the 15min mark was when he asked to do that instead of spooning since he wanted to be held sincerely.

The second time I was asked to let someone listen to my heart while we cuddled asked to do so around a similar marking of time 20-30min mark is when this individual politely asked of that was okay with me and explained just wanting to be held closer while we talked to feel coddled up and safe plus it was winter time so the extra body heat didn’t hurt I’m sure 🤭☺️ but both times were very platonic, mindful and asked first.

Hopefully that helps answer your question some, I don’t know either individuals orientation to know if it played a role in away to do with the sexual nature. Both asked to do so in under the 30min mark of the cuddle session but this is not a very common request or question although it can occur it is not the most commonly asked of cuddlers in my experience here/in the cuddle community.

  • Ask and Wait. If you want to try an activity, ask your partner if you can try it and wait for an answer

  • The sound of the heartbeat is so comforting for me. I enjoy listening to my heart and to my cuddle buddy's heart too.

I give long hugs that stay connected til I feel the heart beat of the person I am holding. It is a beautiful way to slow down and be present where you are.

Truthfully I hesitate to ask this of people with large chest areas. Though I don't have to be right over their heart to listen to the beat.

  • I have a cuddle friend who likes to lay down and listen to heartbeat. It's not something I want to do myself but she enjoys it

It's everything for me. I ask everyone if I can and it's primarily why I like cuddling. It's the most significant motion in the universe. It's the act of life, and the unfiltered expression of both our physical and emotional state. I feel incredible honor in being invited to experience someone's breathing and heartbeat, knowing how much importance that holds.

Everyone I have cuddled thus far seems to have found it nice and relaxing 😊

  • Here's one that's similar I like sharing...
Holding opposite hands loosely and putting a fingertip on each each other's pulse

  • My heart is beating under the floorboards.

  • I have never been asked but, I'm really not going to make someone feel weird about ANYTHING they ask. I always say we have the freedom to say yes or no and we are still friends right? Totally a safe space. I can automatically feel someone's heartbeat in their entire body so I adjust conversations and positions accordingly because it's a really good indicator of how someone may be feeling. I myself when anxious find it aliviating immediately when I hug someone and just take a few deep connecting breaths with them. It eases my nervous system.

A few of you are silly with your song and poe

  • Agreed!! I love listening to someone’s heartbeat!! 🥁

  • Ah, @Katota found it. Did you use a flooring stethoscope?

  • @TheFunCartel Nah, I always look out for your sense of humor. 😆👍

Ask and Wait. If you want to try an activity, ask your partner if you can try it and wait for an answer

@Mare_Bear That's something I usually do anyway. I usually save my activity of choice until we're near the end of the session. One thing that helps is that before the session, we discuss how the session will be run. Most times it's a 50-10, but if I ask, we could adjust it to a 45-15, or even run our session straight through without the 10-15 minute warning.

Agreed!! I love listening to someone’s heartbeat!! 🥁

@Erin_Elle_ You'll have no trouble with me.

  • Before I book a session I’ll typically ask “do you mind me listening to your heart?”

  • Didn't know we had so many female cuddles lol

Anyway, personally I do not like to listen to people's hearts or have mine listened to. I know I mentioned this to cuddlers before but don't believe any were from cuddle comfort unless maybe one. So no one asked that yet maybe because they knew I don't like the topic beforehand or they listened to my heart discreetly without my knowledge. Which is fine with me if I don't know and we don't discuss it so my mind isn't thinking about a real heart, how it looks, how it makes a beating nose, etc so I don't get squeamish.

  • I actually think the real anatomical heart is beautiful, lungs as well (life in general). I specifically visualize that when listening lol.

I have a Eko Core 500 digital stethoscope that even allows listening while avoiding excessive chest contact (The head of it can be detached from the tubing and taken by the cuddling partner, then heard via the app)

  • @DaSuTro What a lovely request! I like to start sessions with a heart-to-heart hug and some synchronized breaths. If my head winds up resting on a man's chest during a cuddle, I enjoy both connecting with his heartbeat and feeling the vibrating rumble of his voice when he is speaking. Happy Cuddling!!

  • I would be fine with that request as long as I feel comfortable enough with my partner.

I usually hear my partner's heartbeat when I lie my head on their chest. And if it's quiet enough I can hear it when we're face to face as well.

I've noticed that when we get in the face-to-face position and hug tightly their respiration also increases.

snort Breathing intensifying is a sure sign to change things up before they start trying to take things somewhere they shouldn't. 😛

Do you get an overwhelming amount of messages?

  • @cool_dude_
It has fluctuated over the years, but yes. I feel really bad because often people think I've ghosted them, when that is never my intent.
