Cuddling in the pool?

I have a cuddler asking if I would be comfortable cuddling in the pool and asking if I would wear a bikini. I’m getting red flags but I want to ask other pros.

How would you handle a cuddle in the pool? I was thinking maybe full cover suit or maybe have strict rules of no body on body but instead encourage hand holding, tangled feet and sitting side by side.

  • If he's specifically focusing on a bikini then he's just wanting you to get super skimpy and he's wanting to wear minimal clothing himself ( no shirt etc) so I would say in my opinion it's red flaggish

  • Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. But I wanted to know what would your rules be for pool cuddles. Seems fun but doesn’t seem like something I’d do unless I knew the person really well already.

  • Pool cuddles just might be illegal here, maybe? And in a bikini??? lol
I know a pro who was banned for offering them, but let’s double check with the mods.
    @Sideon @CharlieBear @stormydaycuddle
    @cheeseboy etc

  • Pool cuddles as well as hot tub cuddles don't meet the minimum clothing requirements of shorts and a t-shirt or tank top. Trying to meet up at the hourly hot tub rental places is also a huge red flag, as while there is a hot tub, there isn't a separate private changing area.

I'd see a request for pool cuddles from a new client as a red flag. Perhaps suggest that it could be an option if boundaries are respected for a full length session

Other moderators are welcome to add to this.

  • No pool cuddles. I’d even report him so that he can get at least a warning. - Love Stormy

  • Report Report Report. Nothing to think about, this is blatant disregard for the terms of service.

Just out of curiosity ... (and this is purely for curiosity... I, myself, would never ask for a pool cuddle ... even if it were part of the rules, I would never be comfortable asking for this.)

So when i go the the pool I have a bathing suit and a swimming shirt (I am one of those quick burning types). If the person i was potentially cuddling had something similar; would that be allowed? (I guess my question is: is it simply a matter of clothing or over the activity itself?)

2 layers of dry clothing - underwear and pants - are required so wearing only a swimsuit (especially a wet one) doesn’t meet the requirements. Women are required to wear 2 layers on top I believe. Isn’t this written somewhere in the TOS?? It’s not that difficult to understand unless you just don’t want to understand.

  • @GuyverGordon There’s several other posts going back years that vary from ambivalent to sure as long as the rules are met. I looked into it out of curiosity. Never found conclusive guidance.

I’m personally not opposed but kind of prefer the idea of a Salt River float on a nice raft / boat for a gently cuddle experience.

Thanks for the links. I kind of remember the discussion in the second link

Here is a screenshot of the TOS:

@g_w_t_w I didn't see it mentioning 2 layers of dry clothing nor a distinct difference between men and women; just the mention about not being nude or wearing just underwear. Do you happen to know where it explains the clothing rule further?

  • @GuyverGordon
I just made it all up. There are no clothing suggestions or rules. Wear whatever you want and see what happens. I just hope you will use some common sense.

  • I am just trying to get things clarified. Why the distain?

I do believe that somewhere on this site it’s written.
But regardless, wouldn’t you just use higher level reasoning and go with what is appropriate for a strictly platonic cuddle where you don’t want to push boundaries or give the wrong impression - or make someone feel uncomfortable? Like, to just be a decent person….

I dont think you saw my opening line when I asked my question:

(and this is purely for curiosity... I, myself, would never ask for a pool cuddle ... even if it were part of the rules, I would never be comfortable asking for this.)

I was simply asking out of curiosity; simply because there has not been a cut and dry answer to this.

  • Oh man.. Call the cuddle cops I've gone swimming with a repeat cuddle client. As well as the beach. The pool was actually very relaxing as I helped him float. We managed to get some quiet time and then a bunch of families arrived. It was fun to chill and enjoy seeing kids play.

  • @Auroradream

You mean you didn't wear wetsuits and flippers ?

  • I had on my 19th century swimwear

  • @Auroradream
Perfect! I’m sure that would pass the site’s rules.

  • @g_w_t_w No where have I seen the site specify how much clothes we are to wear just that it has to be more than underwear. There have even been discussions about pros only wearing a shirt no bra! I would agree a bikini would be a bad idea with a client but started this post because I was curious what other people thought.

The person in question that reached out to me about it quickly dipped from my inbox when I asked for his full name and phone number for my safety soooo xD the trash took itself out.

Mods have answered this question about minimum clothing requirements multiple times in the forum.
People want what they want, as much bare skin as possible. I have my own rules and what random strangers here (who I will never meet) choose to do have zero effect on me.
    Let’s bother a mod one more time…

@CharlieBear are there any site rules about cuddling in swimwear? Is there a minimum clothing requirement? I believe I once read that 2 layers were required at bottom for men and women. And 2 layers on top for women.
Also 1 layer on top for men.
Please clarify because I’ve been asked a few times.
Also if there are clothing requirements, where are they posted?
Thanks and sorry to bother you!
