He went to Germany on a whim to start his music and never thought it would end in a career! To have been in Hamburg at the Star Club hearing his initial music 🎶 starting and feel him finally connect to his career calling!!! Lmk when time travel is invented, safely. This is on my list.
Met him a few times for work events and he was a class act! He’s one of the first shows my oldest sibling took me too and fostered my love for dark rock. Lita Ford and Ozzy on stage performing If I Close My Eyes Forever was one of the best performances I was blessed to see. Agreed Sideon. It also started convo way back about emotional maturity and trauma in the 80’s. A great mental health love ❤️ ballad. Lita 🎸 is playing on tour this year and returns stateside 4th ish quarter. Anyone going to her LA show ?)
Back to Ozzy and his family, loving thoughts of remembrance and peace to you all, including his fans and everyone who respected this man regardless of his life work, dark humor or career.

The fact that so many bands just 2 weeks ago played his final show with him, a major all day show with no pay, as the proceeds were going to charity and Parkinson's research, says a lot about his character and impact he made on a musical and personal level for so many artists. You don't have to like his music, but you cannot argue his legitimacy as an artist and icon.

One of my favorite videos I like to rewatch on YouTube is him telling one of his cats (along with other pets around) to not touch his chicken that he's about to cook. I even made a character of him in MiiTopia with the catchphrase being "Guy Gus Jim Bill whatever".

😢😢😢 ozzy is only 2nd to Bowie (don’t come for me. I have a crush on David Bowie. him in the labyrinth was like oh my God. I am biased.) Anyways, my dad used to play Ozzie almost every night during my whole childhood. We pretty much spent everyday of summer in Rio Vista and everyone in the 5 mile an hour zone on the water knew every lyric to every ozzy song ever thanks to us. 😂😂😂 Insanely sad but he raised so much for charity in his final days. That’s such a kind way to spend the time you have left. 🥰

I am glad he wasn’t from Australia because Aussie Ozzy is a mouthful.
I wasn’t a huge fan although there were songs I liked. But I really appreciated his unvarnished honesty. He was truly devoid of agendas. Despite his demons and addictions he was a sweet man who embraced, admitted and accepted his weaknesses and warts. That takes guts when half the world is watching, but that endeared him to me.

Really sad I didn’t get to make his last performance as I thought about attending but lost track of time and financial means.
He seemed like a really cool dude and I appreciate that he supported Ukraine, being Ukrainian myself.

The early Black Sabbath albums reflect amazing musicianship. Tony on guitar invented heavy metal riffs due to his fingers being cut off in an industrial accidents, then you have geezer, one of the most amazing bass players in music history, Bill on drums and Ozzy on vocals. I love the songs like Iron Man and Sweet Leaf that have what’s basically a jam session right in the middle of the song. So good. Rest in peace, Ozzy.
