Loneliness

    I have had the same experience as @JL_Borges
    Every 2 years I spend about 5-6 months in Seoul. Also spent time in Japan. I’m not fluent in either language, just a few basic words & phrases. Koreans and Japanese also learn English in school. They love practicing English and are such helpful cultures. Most everything was also translated to English.
    It’s difficult to learn new languages at my age but I still easily managed.

  • @Shadowblade dont worry to much about not knowing a lot of Japanese. If you stay in the larger areas many of the locals do speak a bit of English, and when you ride the train system there is the possibility of a youth approaching you asking if they can talk so they can practice their English. I lived there for 6 years, and was only really able to learn enough for simple directions and order some food. If you do visit, I highly recommend going to Kamakura, its an area full of shrines and temples. If you go during August or September you can try hiking Mt Fuji, its a good hike with a beautiful view if it isnt cloudy.

  • I've been on this site for a year and have found a few friends who I've cuddled and a few I've yet to cuddle. I think finding a cuddle depends on if the person is serious about actually meeting. Many just don't show up. Some are too busy and I'm sure a few may be fearful. It's a big step meeting up with someone your planning to be cuddling. Build a trust then plan a meeting in a public location. Cuddles come after that.

    Something interesting that I’ve thought about many times…. When I was active on dating sites, I wouldn’t have - in a million years!! - dreamed of going to the home of someone I had just started talking to or met online the day before. The idea is absurd. Yet here, especially men have an expectation of being alone in bed with women who barely know them, only messaged with once!
    It’s kind of a scary thing when you compare it to what we require in dating.

    @Shadowblade

    You're doing something pretty difficult at this moment. You're opening up in a room full of strangers, while admitting things you feel a need to work on. That demonstrates your inner strength. Most folks hide everything and try to appear cool. This alone shows You're further along than you think.

    That type of sensitivity and self reflection shows spirit maturity and makes for a sincere energy exchange.

    Add a picture of anything cool for your profile pic. You will be fine.

  • Sure, I might be able to go to Japan now but without knowing Japanese I am limit on places I can go since alot of times the reason foreigners get denied entry to a place is due to the lack of being able to speak the language. And yes, some places deny foreigners is because of bad things that happen in the past due to foreigners.

    I've been messaging women on here about cuddling only to get ignored.

  • I’ve struggled with loneliness why whole life. For me personally, it’s easier to not try to have friends or be close to people.

  • @Shadowblade you know what your end goals are. You want to be able to travel to Japan and you want to be able to cuddle with a girl on the site. What things can you do today to help you achieve those goals?

    @CravingHugs I highly recommend breaking the ice with a professional cuddler. The dopamine and connection 'reward' is there even in a transactional situation. Also, even a single positive feedback is enough for me, and likely many more enthusiasts, to give a person greater consideration. Another user pointed out that it's unfortunately similar to trying to get into an entry level position-the catch 22 of needing evidence of experience to give you more opportunity to gain experience

  • Even relationships can be “transactional” if you think about it. Sure you may be cuddling and having sex for free, but not all costs are monetary.

  • Sorry you feel this way.. if I were in tx, I would do a cuddle with ya. I think booking a pro is a good idea.

  • I understand about being lonely. My wife, recently past (Feb 25), and I get lonely sometimes. So much to the point, I do not even want to come into my own house. I spend nights, late nights looking on line for some companionship in other groups. However, I am not afraid to cuddle or to hug or to give someone the emotional connection that they might need or want. Even if it is as simple as sending a text or email (man4multiorg@yahoo.com), just to talk, or feel a connection across the country. I have several people I have met online, for over 15-30 years, and we have never met in person. Yet we still chat from time to time. Some I have met in person, once or twice and we still chat. However, if you are in the DC, Northern Virginia area and need a cuddle buddy let me know. I am going to Vegas the Last week of Oct and hope to take a trip to California for 3 or 4 days to meet some people that I have chatted with for 15 years or so...for the first time. Wen chat here....all it is depending on YOU, to put your fingers to the keyboard. No matter the race, age, size, or orientation, I realized that everyone, needs SOMEONE to talk to. Here I am....so your not alone.

  • Many just don't show up

    👍👍👍👍

    @HazelEyes68 Very true! 😊👍

  • I have had the opposite experience but still have arrived at the same conclusion. So I'm wondering if it's not just the right one. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have been in relationships (2) very long term my entire adult life and now is the first time ever I have been single and alone. The entire time I was with my spouses, I still was lonely. Clearly didn't pick the right people or something but even growing up. I've never felt understood or seen even by my parents. So consequently, I've never felt loved. You can be surrounded by people all day and some how still be lonely it is the strangest experience. You hear stories like yours and think you should be grateful for the people who "love" you, but don't see you or get you. It could be much worse. Yet the result ends up the same. I spent years letting someone tell me what to think, who I should be... Etc because maybe then it would all work. It was never good enough. I was never good enough. Well, I am now. I have decided to stay single period. No three times a charm. This site has helped. I really do hope you find someone in your area that matches up with you. Timing can be difficult to get right. Remember, it's a numbers game . You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take. If you ever make it to Michigan... U got one on the house waiting.

  • I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want to fix loneliness. You’ll meet two types of women here: those who follow the rules and those who don’t.

    By definition, none of the former want a relationship and virtually none of the latter do either. So, you’ll get a cuddle, but you won’t find someone to come home to. At worst, you’ll find unrequited love.

    It’s more of a place to have a need for physical touch fulfilled.

    @lonelybug That's good advice.

    It's what I'm running through in my head at the moment, is it worth it to just try & enjoy the moment but will it be a hollow experience after.

    not acceptable. -Stormy

  • OP. actually you’ve had offers of free cuddles but you weren’t interested. I guess you’re also quite selective. And please don’t equate platonic Cuddlers with Strippers. That is not a good look for you.

  • edited August 2025

    @g_w_t_w where? I saw no ladies offering to cuddle with me near me

  • @Shadowblade Equating pro cuddlers with strippers makes it look like you don't consider pro cuddlers to be people, just objects you can use to turn money into fantasies. An attitude like that will drive away both enthusiasts and pros. No one will cuddle you if they don't feel safe.

  • @IronLemon I'm not comparing cuddlers to dancers. I was only saying those are my only 2 options I have.

  • You may want to consider how statements like

    whether its paying for cuddling or some lady at a strip club it seems like my only option

    come across.

  • what I see is I'm listing off my only 2 options

  • @Shadowblade Hey you, maybe share a bit about yourself on your profile.. when something of similar taste or familiar background is written that's an automatic win for me .. let people know you, share on your profile, treat people the way you want to be treated and next time I am in texas visiting my sister I'll hit you up and maybe I can have the privilege of a cuddle sesh... Cheer up, hang in there and remember your worth 🌹

  • @CuddleBugz111 there you go. but there really isn't anything worth putting on there.

    @Shadowblade "I like anime and games" okay but like what kind of anime and games

  • @Ripley54566 that list would be way too long

    [Edited because of a misunderstanding]

    I agree with a platonic cuddler--stripper comparison, btw. I worked at one. The ppl who'd disagree only think strip clubs are only crude places for eye gazing and objectifying, but Ppl can see stuff online free.. At a club you can get that oxytocin and have someone pretend to listen/care. The regulars at strip clubs are lonely ppl because it helps. Those strippers are also platonic, and there's nothing wrong with that profession.

  • @OverTheMooon I never said I was looking for free cuddles.

    Oh, I'm sorry then. My mistake. This is a more valid situation to feel frustrated about. I'll dm you
