Scams do happen and this site isn’t immune from scammers, despite all our filters, some small fraction do get through. Mods remove them as fast as they get reports and investigate. One of the most important things is to keep all communication on site - all the way until the session happens is what I suggest, but if you have to exchange phone numbers do it no earlier than one day before the session. When you text, use regular SMS if at all possible - apps like telegram, WhatsApp, Snapchat are what many scams are designed to work on. Do not agree to send any deposit if the session was not booked on site. If you are a client seeking a legit cuddle session, you have zero incentive to book a session off site - the booking fee is collected from the pro, not you, so it isn’t any cheaper for you, but you accept all the risk if you send a deposit in that case. If you are a pro and a client asks right away to move conversation offsite before even booking or accepting a session - you are almost certainly walking into a fire - end the conversation immediately and report. If you are an enthusiast, refuse to move the conversation offsite - ever. There is just no good reason to.

Yes, you got scammed outright, and the fact that they sent you a phony, automated text is beyond proof of that.
If it wasn't a scam, the "pro" would have done one of two things: 1. Followed through with the session, or 2. Refunded the deposit. Failing to do either of the above makes it an outright scam.
There’s a file size limit for uploads, so some people just screenshot it instead.
