New cuddlers seeking advice..

Hi Everyone,

I'm a very sexual, sensual, and empathetic who loves to cuddle. I am very much respectful of people boundaries, but never been done this (platonic cuddling) before. With that being said, I'm afraid of getting an erection while cuddling, and don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Would anyone care to give advice on this topic?

Read the forums. This topic has been covered in great detail and starting a new thread would just repeat the same information. I hope this doesn't sound like a rude shutdown, but this topic has caused a lot of contention, which you will see in existing threads. Thanks, Peace.
PS If you put the word "erection" in the forum search-engine, you will find all the posts/threads.

  • Thank you! Which thread provides info on this topic?

  • @JadeDream welcome. In addition to what @gallowglass said, I would add this small piece of advice. On a site devoted to platonic cuddles, women will naturally want to make sure that the intentions of their prospective cuddle partners are above board. I'm not suggesting yours aren't; I read your profile and it looked fine. But if I were a woman browsing the forums, and the first words I read from a guy were that he was "very sexual and sensual," it would make me hesitate. First impressions, right?

To directly answer your question, from personal experience, is to:

    • Take Responsibility. It's YOUR equipment and not your cuddlers fault or responsibility.
    • Don't say anything. Because that just isn't required. Everyone will appreciate not having to discuss it.
    • Move in a way that removes the problem, BEFORE your cuddler has to mention it (or grab a pillow, or whatever).
    • Cuddle-on.

The test here is that if your cuddler had to deal with it in any way, you could probably have dealt with it better.

If you DO act on it in any provocotive way, then you probably went into it thinking that "this could be great if I get extras". If that's the case, then you might want to try a different site, that caters to more. This site isn't here for that.

    Peace

@JadeDream If you back out of this individual topic tote FORUM main page you’ll see a search box. Try entering “erection” and “boundaries “ separately, not together. You’ll see may citations.

Lots of threads already on it, and I agree with above statement in that if your first posts are about what to do with your erection it may come off as a bit creepy

  • I agree with @quietman775: someone who right off the bat describes himself as very sexual and sensual makes me very skeptical that he'd be able to keep it platonic.

  • And lets be honest, anybody who has gone through puberty knows how to manage an erection, no legit need to ask on a public forum, seems a bit more like testing the waters to see how permissive folks are, but I digress...
