I’m just alone.

I mean I love to cuddle, but sometimes it’s hard financially. I don’t even know why I wrote this to be honest. Maybe I just wanted to put it out in The Universe.

  • Sorry you’re feeling that way. Hope you feel better.

  • I hope you can find an Enthusiast - someone who is not a Pro and doesn’t charge. I am one who doesn’t charge, for example. The cuddling experience is definitely different when not a Pro. I’ve been both so I know the difference.
If you want to chat, maybe that would help. I’m usually available.

  • Thank you so much for the kind words. I will definitely reach out.

  • You do have a lot of karma so that is good. But yes if finance is a problem then only see enthusiasts. Or...wait longer between sessions if it is a pro. Some pros might also do discounts or something too so you can also look out for that. I only done that once so it could be rare with pros but it doesn't hurt to look! Happy cuddling.

  • Thank you so much

  • Have you thought about calling the warmline in your area or joining some free local events to meet others?

  • sometimes just hanging out with animals lioe dogs or cats make me feel far less lonely.

I feel like they have w way of seeing us that most fellow humans don’t, sadly.

but good luck. I can find enthusiasts on here but it just takes a long time.

  • It's tough. I hope you find what you're looking for. I hope at least that you are not taking things personally. It's hard for many of us.

I've never heard of a warmline. Interesting.

It’s tough. As a new cuddler, I understand it’s definitely hard sometimes. I def understand the financial bit so if you still are looking I’d be happy to give out a free sesh/discount depending on what you can do! Hope you are able to find someone to help you out with some cuddles

As a non-pro, all of your sessions are free. If you wish to charge at all, you need to submit a pro application. -JoyfulHeart (Moderator)

  • @ajphipps19

You aren't a cuddle pro. You aren't in a position to offer a discount because you're not allowed to charge to cuddle.

  • @ajphipps19 What @pmvines says is correct, if you are a Cuddle Pro then you should have a pink encased "Professional" label on your profile. 😁

  • edited August 2025

I have a feeling that @ajphipps19 has been charging or attempting to because in my experience as an Enthusiast, I am offered money fairly often. It’s because new people here really don’t understand the difference and there is apparently not clear enough required reading before joining.
There should be clearer definitions, rules stated multiple times and signed for before profile becomes active because too many people are now members without a clue about how it all works. It’s very obvious just by the type of threads started in the Forum.

    @g_w_t_w

While I certainly agree with you about the site doing a better job about clarity regarding pro vs non pro status etc, they have been here since 2020 so no reason to not know better

  • @g_w_t_w : Unfortunately, you could have a glaring banner in bright colors and large lettering, yet some people would still ignore it or claim to have not fully read the whole thing. It’s a problem. I’ve had multiple people try to get me to talk offsite without booking a session, even when they’ve been on here for years. Some guy last month claimed to be new, but his profile was 2 YEARS old!

  • I am surprised that a couple of times I have been messaged from another person that the person wants to be paid to cuddle with me when the person is NOT listed as a pro. I also am surprised sometimes a free cuddler person or even a pro says he will cuddle with everyone but never replies back to my agreeing! Then I am guilty of speculating why when I know speculations are only speculations and fruitless to engage in.

  • Yeah just trying to give the benefit of the doubt. I didn’t look at the profile. Because I know that scenario does apply to some. I recently read on FAQ that someone who had been here for years didn’t know how to use a certain search feature. I’ve been a member on CC for about 3 years and if it’s something I’ve never needed to use, I might not know about it.
It’s very possible that many members use the site to only the degree that suits their needs.
Hey, just looking at the bug picture, I do that sometimes.

  • @narb2020 .. I have similar situation as you have. Enthusiast members are rare near my Central TX resident.
I'm buying flowers today for the fourth anniversary memory of my special late girlfriend passing away from a tragedy in late summer 2021. I am hugs and cuddles starved, but these flowers least helps me to reminisce her smiles and embraces. She always appreciated flowers. It is hard to 'Let go' when society hastily blindsided my patience, kindness, giving, and efforts to recover from any life's major losses through the loop of positive ambitions alone.
Occasionally, neighbors' pets may holler for a brief greet with them, and then reciprocated by giving a joyful blessing for giving their prompt attentions.

There are plenty of in-person, real world connections to be made at bookstores, coffee shops, libraries, local community events, farmer's markets, grocery stores, etc.

Shy? These places offer up all kinds of situational ice breakers.

And like this site, there's absolutely no pressure to progress with someone beyond a simple greeting or conversation.

Not to mention, you'll be getting up and out of the house. That alone will make you feel better.

  • I'm really amused how that untagged pro outed herself

  • @ecuddlebliss21 I’m so sorry for your loss, I can’t even imagine what you went through. Thank you for sharing, it means a lot to me.

  • I’ve definitely tried the enthusiast route because… well, free cuddles. But most have been bots or secretly charge. Ugh.

  • or secretly charge. Ugh.

@cfdanny I encourage you to REPORT the "secretly charging wallet enthusiasts" that you come across on CC. Mods frown on those and will handle those types! 😊👍

@narb2020, I appreciate you sharing this and opening up on this topic as I am going through a similar challenge in my life with not much physical touch at all aside from cuddling sessions. I have had many great sessions with some Pros since joining a few months ago but it has cost a lot of money and I realize that I can't keep doing this forever either. I have tried the enthusiast route also as a fellow enthusiast and that did not pan out to anything. Recently, I decided to become a Pro and try that route to be able to cuddle and make a little money at the same time but so far it's been a little over a week or so and no one has reached out. What what I've heard and experienced it's tough to do this as a male pro cuddler. I probably will go back to being an enthusiast if nothing pans out by end of the month. I hope things get better for you soon.

  • I can feel everyone’s pain here . It hits home for me too.
This site was suppose to be open for all to explore the world lf cuddling but it seems like it’s really only for the pros to make money of lonely people some times.
Every single enthusiast inagve reached out to has either ignored me, or been banned , profile removed etc..
I understand the mods desire to protect people from being taken advantage of, and having a culture of people misrepresenting themselves.. but it seems we are trapped in a cycle of pay to play or be lonely ..
it’s sad really that is the world we have built for ourselves

Hearing about your loneliness, I want to point you toward some free opportunities for Relational Awareness practice. I’m not sure if I can share direct links, but I encourage you to look into these phrases: Circling, Authentic Relating, Nonviolent Communication, and IFS.

There are many free group practices available if you search on Google or in Facebook groups. These practices have been truly life-changing for me, and I feel so grateful to both share about them and practice them during my own cuddle sessions.

What is a Relational Presence Practice?

It’s a space where we come together to explore what it’s like to be present with each other—moment by moment. We share what’s alive for us, notice our impacts, and practice owning our assumptions and desires. Using “I” statements, we express thoughts and feelings as they arise.

Some things people often walk away with:
    • A feeling of being “deeply seen” and “held”
    • More ease in resolving communication issues
    • Greater presence and intimacy in relationships
    • A sense of wonder at simply being yourself

This isn’t therapy or coaching—it’s an invitation into the art of relating. It’s about becoming intimate with how we experience ourselves and others in real time. Healing and insight might happen, but the heart of this practice is presence.

Hi everyone :) Happy Monday. <3

I do sympathize with those on this site (and everywhere else ) that are experiencing loneliness. And I realize we are all having different experiences here on CC .
I’ve been here a bit and came looking for friends and connections after being married and with kids forever it seemed. (My whole reason for existing was marriage and children it seems ! )
All of a sudden , life changes sometimes , and I found myself divorced and an empty nester all at the same time ! I stumbled and fumbled and somehow found this site and CC picked me up , dusted me off , and lo and behold kept me personally from feeling lonely. Again I realize this isn’t everyone’s experience and I wish I could help improve on that somehow !

Loneliness isn't a state of being, it's a state of mind. Cuddling has never made me not feel lonely. If that's the way I'm feeling then it is for reasons greater than wanting to cuddle. Feelings are much more complex and multi layered. In fact cuddling has at times even made it worse for various personal reasons. However, the friendships and connections I've made with people on here who ended up really being there for me have helped immensely. I recommend that you not focus on cuddling as being a means to an end because it's not going to fix what is causing you to feel alone. Instead I would try building friendships with the people here . If it leads to cuddling then great. If not, you still have support from others and are not alone. If you havent yet you may want to look into counseling. Sometimes your work place will have an EAP line that you can call. Don't expect cuddling to take the place of self growth. And don't expect it to fix you emotionally. You can't put all those eggs in one basket like that, your mental health is far too important. Good luck. Loneliness is a hard thing to deal with, but you don't have to be alone.

  • Sending you virtual hugs 🤗

  • I second the warmline suggestion! It helped me recently when I was struggling
