Free Coffee would make me so Perky!
Fleet car. I do pay 150 a month but I get gas card , car washes, maintenance and repairs, tag, title, taxes, and insurance all covered. I could drive to Nevada and back without paying a.dime of gas.
@pmvines Road Trip!
I'm a contractor, but the company we contract for gives us access to some of the benefits their employees get. There's a concierge service onsite that will personal shop, take your dry cleaning, take your vehicle for maintenance/tires/detailing, run errands for you, etc. it's really nice to have available when working long shifts.
And there's free coffee 😊
@Auroradream
Why you think I drive everywhere lol
@Auroradream Would that be a now perk or later?
If our whole department goes out to eat, we don't have to come back until everyone is mostly finished so it goes beyond our normal lunch break
Fido Fridays! Bring your pet to work every Friday.
I just started my therapy internship....so I'm in a workplace again! 😎
So far: Free coffee Free lunch every quarter Can play with toys when I'm bored 🪀🧩 (granted they are for play therapy kids....but still)
And the best free thing....is that they get my work for free! LoL
@RedFox16 That is fantastic! Those are some lucky kids to have you helping them.
In the mail this week, I just got a little thank you card from my employer with a gift card for our local grocery store. One of my eldely home care clients had called in with positive feedback and thanks for my regular visits! When I was chosen as caregiver of the year, there was cake!! I got a free hoodie and flowers with my award too. It's pretty humble work, and especially nice to be recognized 💜
The best perk was the generous severance package I received upon VER.
@RedFox16 that sounds like a wonderful job, good for u and great for the kids! . oh free coffee would be likely problematic for me though lol I have free theme park tickets … but coffee mmm 🤣
Im self employed. My boss can be an asshole. He never gives me free anything. In fact usually he makes me buy lunch for all my coworkers.
Working remote. This summer I spent over a month in SEA and only took 3 days of PTO. (It helps that we have a house with high speed internet. I worked all night and slept all day while the in laws hung out on the deck.
None whatsoever.
@RedFox16
A few of my employers gave out Thanksgiving turkeys.
I don’t trust bird pimps.
A pay check
If you want to transition if you’re trans, my work offers 50k towards that
@CuddlesWithCat Your employer is awesome to offer that.
Foot rubs 🥰
@CuddlesWithCat I'm genuinely impressed. That would actually go quite a ways even if insurance covers gender affirming care. Probably helps a lot with the six weeks off if they do surgery.
My employer pays me in cash and then after that, we hug for several hours!! 🤗
Flex hours. As long as we work our 8 hours We can come in between 7am and 8:30am and leave between 4pm to 5:30pm. And choose to take lunch or not
examples 7am-4pm 1 hour lunch 7:30am-4pm 30 min lunch 8am-4pm skip lunch
I work at USPS and get a 5% match for my retirement contributions. I find it fun having control of which funds I invest in and watching my savings go up.
We NHS employees can also get free tickets to certain comedy/sport/family events. Usually via a ballot but last year I managed to get two tickets to AEW at Wembley 😅
When you travel for work and then work remotely when you are not traveling, the perks vary.
The obvious perks is I keep all points and free days on hotels, flights and car rentals.
When I work remotely I create my own such as:
A working toilet. I kid u not, I feel lucky to get that. Over Christmas one yr I had to bring in my own loo roll
