As an avid swiftie my entire life from early teenage years to now, today is the best day ever. Our beloved Taylor is getting married. I am so happy.     Frankly, such matters tend to captivate only those with low intellect and personal depth — a symptom of a culture increasingly detached from substance.

    @OCDHugs Sorry, I can't see a fascination with celebrity - something that easily dates back more than a century - as a sign of society's imminent collapse. I'm not a Swiftie and don't much care about her relationships, but if someone else gets joy from it, hey, good for them. Insulting the OP is uncalled for.     I have no issue with people confessing their opinions about celebrity obsession and its negative influences on society. For myself, it doesn't have any impacts on how I celebrate someone who I find inspiring and wonderful. I dont have the answers to solve the myriad of issues that plague "society" which also encompasses most of the world and I dont have the hubris to pretend I know the intricacies of issues in a global society. I wouldnt even provide such a generalization from my bedroom lol. What I will do, it sing Love Story to the top of my lungs for someone who has been seeking true happiness for quite some time!

    “What goes around comes around” or whatever - to rudeness from anyone who would purposely come here with negativity for no reason!
    I’ve followed this story since the beginning when their relationship was first publicized.
    I don’t know her music that well but wow, what she has accomplished is beyond impressive. And being from KC and a big Chiefs fan, I find her and Travis to be great role models so far and wish them happiness. I definitely will continue to follow their story!

    And @OCDHugs I have no problem with your post. There are others who agree with you and I don't want you heavily outweighed or anything lol. You are entitled to your analysis and doesn't affect me any. I think some do obsess over celebrities too much. I also think this is a very positive post in celebration of someone's happiness, so I dont see the negative impacts in this scenario (im also biased). I always appreciate the dichotomy of other perspectives. Much love my friend!

    @KNoana Hey, it's entirely possible that some intern in Taylor's social media team whose job it is to troll for posts on her spotted what you wrote. So that person knows who you are ... and who knows where that might lead?? :)
