I feel kind of weird asking for this advice, but I’m beginning to get a little freaked out. I grew up as the daughter of a stalking victim, so maybe I’m just a little sensitive about this sort of thing. Please feel free to tell me if I’m being too sensitive.
There was a guy on here that I had been messaging with for a bit, and a couple of weeks ago we agreed to meet up somewhere public as a get to know you type of thing. I insist on doing this for my safety before I finalize decisions to cuddle someone. It was a really good thing that I did, because within 15 minutes of meeting this guy, alarm bells were going off in the back of my mind. I trust my gut. So I extracted myself from the situation as quickly as I politely could without drawing a ton of attention. When he texted me afterwards, I tried to be nice about it by saying we didn’t have much in common and that I didn’t think we would make good cuddle buddies. Then I blocked him.
Everything was fine until a couple of days ago. I got a message from another guy I’d never been in contact with before, so I went to look at the profile. Despite having a different age and city, I was pretty sure it was him. I was cautious with my messages, but tried to give this profile the benefit of the doubt. That user deleted their account.
Now today when I logged in, I see a visitor from a nearby Florida city. I check the profile to see if it’s maybe someone I’d like to message. It’s the same guy. He always lists the same interests. His third profile lists the occupation he told me from messages from his first account. I blocked the profile, but feel really creeped out.
I don’t know at this point if I should delete my profile, or otherwise resolve to only cuddle with women.
Has anyone else had a situation like this? How did you deal with it?
